It was not their plan , after all , for her to end up in this line of work . Whatever beam of pride may have burned for their daughter had surely extinguished with her youth .

But ... Yukong was different . Though their abilities & means did not align , Yukong never lost faith in Tingyun's potential — never doubted her plans nor shun her for peaceful & diplomatic ideology . A woman with such strength , such bravery and intelligence that so many admired ...

That trust is the highest honor .

Tingyun avoids visitor's gaze , a careful touch seeking the rather nasty cut she'd ended up with after taking a tumble . She offers a laugh , airy & clearly forced in embarrassment , waving hand in the air to dismiss the worry present on Mei's features .

tingyun makes me laugh bc shes all about keeping the peace, but... sometimes she likes to be a little silly n kick up harmless scenarios (especially with yukong) just to go :) haha got u :) pls don't be mad at me <3 here's a gift to make up for it <3

Of course Tingyun is being a bit dramatic — sure , she's capable of defending herself when needed ... but fighting isn't her style , and these poor machines had little control over their violent episodes . Even if they aren't sentient , Tingyun can't help but pity them .

It's better to grant them a peaceful passing when it comes to that point , isn't it ? But ... not by her hand . Lightning is quick , precise ; the perfect hand to grant the mercy Tingyun hopes they receive .

The increase of ENEMIES in this world equally so, being more &. more of these machines at each turn. Exhausting, sure, but this is nothing new to someone who's lived a life of WAR since childhood.

Gun blade drawn, in position of HOSTILITY once more while having an arm spread out to keep this woman from harms way. Eyes rolled at the comment of prince charming, despite it being endearing. Many nicknames came about from Tingyun, despite the pair only knowing each other a short time.

i cant get over this line bc i just know tingyun says “twinsies” about any girl she meets and knows shes gonna click with. mentally or out loud. if she likes you, shes thinking “oh my god we’re like the same person” and latches on immediately
