Shakily, Lucy strides uneasily to Caspian's cabin. Her teeth gritting with resolve as the movements only cause the pain the spiderweb outwards.
Having been granted permission to enter, she foregoes the usual greetings. “I might have a --- a small problem, and it’s probably not that serious, but… I’m maybe, sort of, bleeding. A lot.” Her jaw tightens as she reveals her crimson-tainted side.
And, though she is loathe to divulge such information, her healing cordial vile had been dropped in the swift evacuation of the island. When she had turned to get it, Eustace and Edmund had grabbed hold of her. In the undercurrent of her quivering voice, she recollected Edmund's age old question-- what happens to a person if they die in Narnia?

Her tongue ties with the ominous notion that something is amiss. She knows she oughtent ask. Help is to be seen and not HEARD from. Yet, warring with curiosity, it does her no good. She finally caves, melting like butter left too long upon a stove. "What ever do you mean?" Violet protectively hedges closer to the other woman. "Has someone threatened you?"

There's something that unnerves Rose about his piercing orbs, and the way they dreadfully linger upon her porcelain figure. "Why are you looking at me like that?" The snappish words depart her in the undercurrent of a quavering exhale. "I can't THINK when you're practically BREATHING down my NECK!!!!!" It's a mild exaggeration to be SURE, but an exaggeration it is. "Say whatever is on your mind." She turns her wide-eyed gaze to him.

Unsettled FIRES burn beneath Peggy's ever-darkening eyes. She almost lost ALL three of them!!! The realization rattles her to the CORE. She can NOT bury more of the people she loves. Steve's death was enough to nearly cripple her floundering heart, to lose Howard and her son-- the thought paralyzes---. The shield in her hand TREMBLES, quaking in the grasp of bloodied fingers.
Aching lungs struggle to take in adequate air as she FENDS off a PANICKED spiral. Instead, she finds her boots propelling herself forwards, into his arms. Her analytical eyes sweep over him-- checking for any sign of injuries. His apologies are swallowed down HARD.
"I --knew--- I shouldn't have left you!!! It is I, who should be sorry, Howard. It was my fault." She breathes, bringing her forehead to his in an attempt to ground him. "Look at me, look at me, Stark." It comes rolling from her tongue like a demand. "Where-- where are you hurt?"

Endless, the night feels like an expanse of SPACE, so terrifying and LIBERATING in the same breath. There's an incessant hush of waves greeting the mighty bow of the Titanic. Taking it all in, Rose, speaks. "Cal tells me you are a shrewd business-minded man. Is-- is this true?"
"Of course, Miss Bukater," replied the smaller man, nodding his head. Smiling wider, he then remarked, "I concur that fresh air is helpful for everyone."
