haven is far more boring than maqyaža could have ever anticipated. they try to stay out of the settlement proper as much as possible but being tied to this place by bonds means that they’re never gone for too long. at any rate, they can only do so many laps around the poorly-guarded perimeter before it drives them mad.
at the present, they’re staring at the horses near the smithy (and also, blackwall’s place), irritated by their perceived uselessness.

reaching for the covers, maqyaža pulls them over pasha and tilts their head. there’s a few strands of hair lying across pasha’s face, so they gently nudge them aside with one of their fingers. an expression like bewilderment crosses over their features like a shadow, yet is gone as they take a step back.
they’ll keep watch over the house as they always do—make sure that the danger’s subsided. let her sleep.
