Ive decided to actually try and set some of my pkmn SIs designs in stone so heres the outfit Amy wears during Johto! (S3-5) Along with her mareep, Millie :]

I took some design cues from the lass trainer class in gen 2, along with some colours taken from marina (from the legend of thunder special) and just added some stuff id like hehe

Oh how did Amy and Ash meet btw? You said you started traveling with him to study his shiny Noctowl, but how'd that happen exactly? and how does Amy react to seeing a shiny Pokemon? Is she excitable or very calm about it?

Well Amy was in Ecruteak City learning about various legends from the kimono girls (Ho-oh, Celebi, etc.), when Ash was fighting Morty. As ash was about to head on to the next city, Amy spots the Noctowl and reacts... more than excited XD. She introduces herself, apologies for the sudden burst and explains that shes a self proclaimed researcher of shiny pokemon, and asks, if it was ok with ash and the rest, to travel with them so she can properly study the noctowl! Also she later admits that it was getting lonely with it just being her and Millie the mareep heh.

Also at first Amy reacted to shinies very excitably, but after some time she starts to calm down mostly hehe. Internally though she still gets excited hehe.

So her names Amy and shes a shiny pokemon researcher from a region based on australia lol

As a result of her research, she has obtained a good number of shinies, (alolan raichu, sylveon, floatzel etc.) and how she met ash was because of his shiny noctowl!
