I’ve been wondering what the three stars on dragons shirt mean, I was thinking they look like something a navy man would wear and we now know that dragon was in the marines. So I was looking stuff up on google the other day and saw this
(This is referring to the US navy btw)
It would probably make sense if he was a vice-admiral because he’s pretty powerful so it makes sense he’d have a high position but if he was an admiral which a lot of people believe then more people would likely know about it but we’ve seen many vice admirals in the series so it would make more sense because no one knows about it
Also Akainu seems to have a lot of beef with him and dragon likely quit the marines after Ohara and if I remember right Akainu was a vice admiral during Ohara. A lot of people theorise Akainu and Dragon were friends in the marines or they definitely knew each other. It would make sense that they were the same rank if they were close friends because Akainu seems to hate dragon a lot like he referred to ace as ace but to Luffy as dragons son
