After Chains of Harrow, Titmouse was determined to help Harrow out, despite him being Kinda In Pieces.

They didn’t have enough to work with for the Helminth to get him put back together at first, and it took a long time to find enough blueprints and data and everything.

By the time Harrow finally woke up, the New War had ended, and Titmouse felt like she had run out of things to give, and so tried to let Veery be the one to help him.

Being an uncooperative individual, it didn’t go very well.

Oh, it worked fine, in general, but never generated the closeness Titmouse experienced with Corax and Caspian. Harrow and Veery just never really clicked.

He ended up frequently, discretely, tailing Titmouse around the camp, when circumstances allowed him to be unobtrusive.

I have been…dubiously successful in wrangling the cats. I’ve got Many Ideas for writing but every time I get about halfway through anything, they jump ship XD they won’t leave the microwave though so they keep getting Rotated

The purring is one of my Most Favorite Things. I haven’t run with it at all Yet but. Yes.

Honestly Alden’s muppet mouth is what started my friend and I’s conversation XD that mental image is So Good. Alden’s design, period, is amazing, and him + Higgins spawned multiple “how many warframes have hooves/claws/etc” conversation

We ended up looking at how mouths would work on other warframes I don’t think my Vauban or Lavos will get mouth permissions due to being Shaped but that’s up in the air until I actually manage to Draw Them Properly and uh. Frost came up.

Frost with a mouth is just a flip-top trash can.

I doodled this idea, actually—I need to figure out how sticking images on tumblr works

Pseudo-mouth just being kinda There and not having much In It makes sense! Pule’s Gross Goop is also completely valid

Hi I hope this doesn’t come off weirdly or anything but. I really, really love reading all your chatter/ramblings/etc about ocs. It’s been an inspiration/motivation to actually write my own stuff (or rather, attempt to wrangle the hoard of cats I’ve been acquiring), and has raised Interesting Questions especially around warframes mouths/pseudo-mouths and sound

it has also led to some Rather Funny discussions with my best friend.

I don't have much on pseudo-mouths aside from Hee Hoo Muppet, they're just fun for me from a character design standpoint. They're unrelated to sound tho! Most warframes are completely silent (their talk through transference is essentially telepathy) aside from purring/growling which originates from their chest (the same way a cat purring doesn't originate from their mouth either)

The middle of the venn diagram between "frames with pseudo-mouth" and "frames that can make sound" is Very Small, and so is the chance of one blessed with both actually having their sound-making-organ in their throat And moving their mouth along with it. For example, Lanius has the ability to make some noises (tho they don't have a movable mouth), mainly infested-like shrieks and this high pitched whine that's their equivalent of crying. The sounds come from their chest, pushed mainly through the air ducts located along their sides

Your Mileage May Vary with what is actually in a pseudo-mouth. In Alden's case it's just a vaguely mouth-shaped cavity covered with the same steel-skin he has everywhere else on his face. Completely dry, has the same amount of feeling, no teeth if you don't count the general jagged shape of it, etc. On the other hand, @riftwalker-limbro's Pule can secrete Gross Goops in there to drool on ppl and make getting chomped on by him a horrible experience for everyone involved, bc he's Like That
