I live in Canada where doctors notes are no longer needed for work. At least in Ontario. Prior to this change I know of 3 cases where someone who used a doctors note for being sick were actually sick...
I can't count how many people I know who have used doctors notes... The 0.9% isn't 0.9 in this case. It's more like 70%...
Even though we have healthcare here we still paid for doctors notes though.
