CATS AND BATS HOODY!!!

everyone knows this one i think... the cats and bats hoodie!! this was reprinted quite a few times up until 2008/09 and the design was used for a couple of different things.
there was a cats and bats wrapping paper that came free with every order over £40 during christmas 2007, a wallet also released with the cats and bats print in 2007 and slip ons in 2008.

it just depends what u think is cool though ?? dd have always designed what oli is into . he used to be into scene clothing but now as a mid 30 yr old he is into street wear . it's just a natural evolution . the brand is 20 yrs old and like every brand that has been around for 2 decades they are going to change . there just isn't the kind of market for scene clothing now that there was then , u might think there is because u r in the scene emo community but on a wider scale it really isn't the same anymore at all
drop dead isn't even good anymore, it's just overpriced crap that's not even cool. DD peaked from 2010 - 2012, everything after that just sucked- it definitely didn't help that Oli completely sold out (tbh bmth as a whole sold out...)
it also doesn't help that the only way to get old drop dead now is to either get extremely lucky in a thrift store or get essentially robbed by depop resellers
anyways fuck drop dead clothing, i'm just gonna start bootlegging that shit

CLOTHING TAGS!!
need help working out when ur drop dead tee is from?? let me save u!!
2006/2007
some tees released from 2006/07 didn't actually have a tag and just have a label to indicate the size, but those that did had this one!! originally it was blue/white stripe with a pink dripping heart - but they all fade differently (depending on wear/washing)
there was also a tote bag that was released in 2006 with this design on the front
2007
this printed tag was used in 2007 for items like hoodies and jumpers ( and a couple of tees )
2008
3D tag!! the design from the tag was featured on the back of the wolf & the 3D robot shirts both released in 2008. at the bottom along the hem there is the also the original drop dead cat logo.
2009
shirts with this tag were released in 2009. the guys fit shirts had this black tag and the girls fit shirts had a white one. at the bottom along the hem is another tag with just 'dd!' on it.
this is probably a tag u have seen around, the majority of the most popular drop dead designs were released in the 2009 collections.

hey!! the cats and bats shoes were dropped in late 2008 as part of the winter collection and they retailed for 45£!! the box that they came in was white with the drop dead umbrella girl logo on it
they were featured in the 2009(?) lookbook i think , i don't actually have a copy of it but it's got a brown cover made to look like an old photo album
the cats and bats hoodie was released in 2007 and both the shoes and the hoodie were available until 2009. ( there was also some wrapping paper with the cats & bats print available for free with every order over i think 40£ for christmas 2007! )

'ghost!'
first released in 2005
the first release of this shirt in 2005 came in 2 colours ; banana yellow and red !! the 2005 version was the only one to have these colours , the reprints after in 2006 were blue.
this is also one of the tees that was remade in 2020 as part of drop dead's flashback collection!! these were a darker blue and do not have a gildan tag like the older ones would have.

this one is super old , not exactly one of the first but this was still really early dd . i can't find much about it at all and i've had to just match the picture to the name so i don't really have any proper info about it sorry !! all i know is that it was released in 2005 and sold out but i don't think it was reprinted again the following year
