You managed to retire from the supervillain game long ago, when you became a parent. Now, your grandchild has inadvertently been kidnapped by an upstart villain, and you’re about to show them why the world (rightfully) feared you.

Part of me really wants for the Peter Parker of Earth 42 to have become a superhero- Spider or no Spider. Assuming he's like every other Peter Parker, he definitely has the tech know-how to make some kind of super suit, and he has the heart of a hero. The 'great power's speech could be about his intelligence, and he could decide that since he could make a suit, he has the responsibility to create one and help people. It could even be a 'apprenticed under Tony Stark MCU-esque thing.

HOWEVER, a large part of me doesn't want that, because this is Miles's story, not Peter's, and having Peter show up as a different hero could distract from Miles's story.

So I guess I want it to be off handedly mentioned in the background without being an actual plot point or something.

Honestly, other than Zuko, does he ever send out ANYONE to find the Avatar??

Zhao stumbles across him and kinda sorta adds 'get the Avatar' to his 'to do' list, as like a potential hobby he can pick up during his actual job of harassing Zuko and killing the moon. The siege of the North is a much bigger deal to him, and it seems that Aang being there is a convenient happenstance, not the main reason for the invasion.

Then, Azula is sent to capture Zuko and Iroh, runs into Aang and decides to switch targets. She is never told to go after him by the Firelord.

The Fire Nation soldiers in the Earth Kingdom don't really look for him, they just kinda react when he shows up but no one is proactively seeking him out.

Even the Rough Rhinos, they are sent after Iroh and Zuko I think, and just decide to throw hands when they happen across the GAang.

Like... do we ever see this man actually assign someone to capture the Avatar? (Zuko doesn't count) Even Zuko hires an assassin after Aang, which is move than Ozai ever does.

Intentional or not, this shows just how over-confident and egotistical Ozai was, to not even really feel threatened by the Avatar's return.

vampires drinking from blood banks is NOT more ethical than drinking from live donors! in fact, it's worse!

most adult humans walking around on the street have a pint or so of blood they can spare with no real consequences for their health. (again, this is not true of everyone, so make sure you ask your donors about any health conditions before you get into it, but you were doing that already, right?)

but the blood in blood banks. the blood in blood banks is for people who need that blood in transfusion form to survive. blood shortages are real, and they kill. if you steal from a blood bank, someone could die for your theft.

the only reason that bagged blood is considered the "softer" option is because you don't have to look the people you're harming in the eyes to do it. coward.
