Bloody shoelaces

          Shay doesn't move. After all, if he doesn't move,           he can't see him, right? If it applied for all of the           fictitious monsters inhabiting the dark, why shouldn't           it apply here, now?           His unblinking eyes move right, and then they move           left -- centerfold. It crosses his mind now, thirty seconds           post the man of green talking to him, that maybe  the           rule of not moving isn't applicable here. Huh. When           he shakes his head and steps forth, it's as if he rattles           the crazy right out of his eyes. Of course, the space           settles once he does, and his aura is right back to           off putting. A second of normal goes a long way,           with Shay.          "I had a question." Closer, closer -- too close! Three          steps back. He draws his lower lip in, widens his eyes,          and he grimaces, shoulders rising. "I forgot it one loop          ago, though." At least he's honest. 

          Capella’s noticed, of course. He notices           just about everything, and now he’s even           made a game of it. Wherever he’d been           headed to initially he’s passed about two           times already, opting to take weird paths,           twisty turns, and going completely out of           his way just to see if this man continues.

          He does. It’s almost funny how persistent           he is, as a matter of fact ; Capella’s unsure           as to whether or not he should shatter the           illusion, either.

          Until he peers back and sees him, that is,           and the jig is up.

          “Looking for something?”

Whoa! Six applications after I left last night. Do I smell or something? Kidding, kidding. I’d love to read through some more, though, for our remaining characters who haven’t been applied for yet — or some who have! Any applications are great. 

He's in much too deep to stop now. Truthfully, Shay doesn't know why he started following him in the first place -- he was, for lack of a better  word, bored, and the plant like man piqued his interest.  So much that he's been shuffling behind him for three blocks, and  jumping a little too obviously out  of sight when he turns.  He peaks from around the building, consequently enough when he turns. Awkward.

He's a little afraid. By that, it's meant that he's a lot afraid -- very, afraid, rather -- but he doesn't react, not at first. He smells the poison via the too close for comfort proximity, and he brings a hand to the one on his face, gaze cautious. "Are you singing to me?"

" Drunk Archie deems it appropriate to go up to people singing and holding their faces. This is why Archie doesn’t get drunk, very often.
