G and B RP Missing Scene || An additive by Jade.
"Jade, how does one please their lover?" The words tumble out of B's mouth all at once, and Jade is so taken aback by the question, that she almost falls right over, eyes widening.
"What?" She's sure she's heard wrong, but as she see's B's somewhat worried face, she knows that she has in fact heard her correctly. Her shock fades as she finds amusement in the situation. "Why do you ask, princess?" She tries to hide her smirk as she returns to doing the laces.
B twists her fingers, and Jade can't help but chuckle, and she's met by a stern glare. Well, as stern as B can muster in such an awkward situation. Jade is actually surprised that B had the courage to ask her, because while they do talk about a great many things that B wouldn't discuss with any of her other maids, this is a topic that they've never broached before. "You know why."
"Ahhh." Jade nods knowingly. "Gretel." Of course she knows. There isn't anyone else the princess could be askig for, and Jade finds herself doing her best to hide the smirk, lest she put B off. "Why do you ask me, princess? Hmm?" It's not like Jade has expressly mentioned her experiences, but with no current suitor to speak of, she really has no qualms about going after what she wants, whatever that may be.
Without waking to offend the girl, B replies simply. "Because I know that you know." Jade can only shrug at that, unable to deny it on any level. Her fingers return to the laces on B's dress as she thinks on exactly how to reply. She has lain with both men and women, so it's not like she doesn't have an answer for B, it's just knowing exactly where to start...
She manages to question B into telling her what she and Gretel have accomplished so far, and Jade finds their curious attempt at discovery almost endearing. "Well, you weren't far off the mark." Jade assures her, thought she suspects B is at least starting to get that. "It'll be easier once you actually start, since you can learn of each other, back and forth.

Jade is not a girl who waits for anything. She hates watching from the sidelines, biting her tongue when clearly things need to be done.
Which is why being a chamber maid is almost infinitely hard for her. But the world gave her a small blessing when it sent her to the chambers of Princess Briony, and if Jade had ended up anywhere else, she would have been put to death years ago.
The Princess really doesn’t mind it when she tells her exactly what is what - Jade isn’t one for sugarcoating anything. Though, she does try her best to -occasionally- ask permission before she speaks. She likes to think that she’s helping in some way. It’s not like B has a lot of people who say it to her straight - they’re too busy trying to be ‘proper’ around the Princess, who is usually not far from her parents.
Palace life is pretty mundane, in the scheme of things, and Jade knows that B spends a quite a bit of time being bored. Which is why when Gretel strides into their lives -well, B’s life- Jade couldn’t be happier. Finally something interesting, though she never realized exactly how much Gretel would disturb things.
Not that Jade minds, of course. The more drama the better. And she revels in watching the young princess bend rules for the huntress, pushing boundaries and enjoying herself. Jade had never cared for the Queen, and watching her squirm is an added bonus that Jade should have see coming.
She happily helps, of course, whether it be distracting another chamber staff so that the girls can slip from B’s room to walk the castle at night, talking about ..Jade can’t even guess. Other people would be surprised to know how well B and Gretel get along, but few know B behind the ‘princess’ facade as well as Jade does. There is much more to B than people see, and Jade has often found her by the window, no doubt dreaming of a life where she wasn’t constricted by her birthright.
Jade doesn’t live in the palace - of course she’s stayed for occasions that B has needed her - but she lives below the castle, with the rest of the commoners in the city, and B often asks her to tell her exactly what goes on. It’s not like B hasn’t been down the city, seen it all, but people always act differently when the Princess is visiting, and Jade tells her stories of people who’ve passed through the town, hunters and other such travelers.
Which is why Jade isn’t surprised when B is so attracted to Gretel, to everything she is, encompassing everything B has never been.
That is, until B starts getting hurt.
