LTlive - what a wild ride! It brings back so many memories from the show, of shared fandom joy and woe, of watching the shows unfold somewhere far away at all hours of day or night - but it also vividly brings me back to the personal ups and downs to which Louis was the soundtrack, the cozy comfort, the friend who knows things will get better. You and me until the end / waking up to start again / there's nowhere else that I would rather be. And I don't feel like going home... because I belong right here. <3

It's like the tracks are being returned to their natural habitat (live) to flourish as they were meant to

one of my favourite things about this live album being from so many different cities is that you can see how differently he's loved by fans around the world. from the "i love you" chants in rio during fearless, the "i love you" in portuguese, fans being so loud for chicago in chicago, fans at the o2 being so fucking loud for the greatest because we knew how pivotal it was, fans chanting "surrounded by lights" for the megamix in munich and many more. like it doesn't matter what language you speak, you can still see how much everyone adores louis. man i love live music so much

Louis Tomlinson: Live feels like a hug. It feels like anticipation of a insanely happy and fun evening. It feels like making friends in an instant or meeting people you only talked to online before. It feels like keeping the promises you made to yourself years ago to keep loving the artists you enjoyed as a teen. It feels like the joy of bringing those you love to concerts for the first time. It feels like joy that lives from countries far from your own bring to a random morning, afternoon, night. It feels like a great continuation of the work Louis has done in cultivating a loving environment for his fans. It's a hug that will last until we see him next, no matter when that is.
