Are you in Covenant with Elohim-God?
Tumblr media
Living in pursuit of Torah means first that we have entered covenant with YHVH through faith that Yeshua is the Anointed of YHVH to fulfill the covenant. The covenant we enter is stated simply by the oath of YHVH, “I will be your God and you will be my people”. The purpose of the covenant is to secure for YHVH a people for His glory. The goal of the covenant is that He is glorified. The word Torah means instruction or teaching. The Torah of Moses is the instruction of YHVH given to Israel to teach them how He wants to be glorified. It is not a list of commandments, but a list of pursuits in holiness and righteousness through which He will be glorified. The ten commandments are blessings, prophetic empowerments toward who we will be in His covenant care. The rest of the commandments are a more detailed instruction of living that glorifies Him. There are many of the commandments we are unable to pursue until the Temple is rebuilt. Then all righteousness will be fulfilled as He commands. Our obedience to covenant Torah is supposed to be the way we bless Him. This obedience is not to earn salvation, because this instruction is only given to saved people, people saved by the grace of entering covenant with Him through faith…the faith of trusting He will always be faithful to His covenant. We trust that the commandments He gives us are teaching us more about His glory, and we are giving Him glory and thanks for the commandments through obedience. The life of covenant and its Torah is a great privilege and honor, given from grace, received by faith, to a people called Israel. Israel means Prince of El (God) and Israel is our new covenant identity.
Seen from this perspective, the commandments are never burdensome, but an inspirational motivator, to show Him our love and covenant devotion in thanksgiving.

They ALL followed the Torah!
The Apostle Sha’ul (Paul) calls himself a believer of the “WAY”, not a CHRISTIAN:
In Acts 24:14 "However, I admit that I worship the Elohim (God) of our ancestors as a follower of the “WAY”, which they call a sect (a sect of Judaism.) so I worship the Elohim God of my fathers, Exo_3:15 believing all that has been written in the Torah and in the Prophets.”
The Apostle Sha’ul (Paul) said:
In Acts 22:4, he calls them "followers of this “WAY” and uses that as a name for true BELIEVERS in the Messiah.
Yehoshua (His true Hebrew name, Mat_1) who Christians call Jesus, a Roman name NOT Hebrew, had identified himself as "the Way" (John 14:6)
The name “WAY” appears throughout Acts 9:2; Acts 11:26; Acts 19:9, Acts 19:23; Acts 22:4; Acts 24:14, Acts 24:22; see Acts 18:25, Acts 18:26 for the similar terms "the “WAY” of the Lord" and "the “WAY” of God". Blessed are the perfect in the “WAY”, Who walk in the Torah of Yehovah! Psa_119:1

Dispensationalism divides Biblical history into different segments rather than looking it as a whole.
Dispensationalists teach Jesus/Yeshua did away with God/Yehovah’s Law, as it’s too hard to keep. In fact they go so far as to claim the Law was given to show that no one could keep it.
Their exegesis of Scripture is appalling, convoluted and confused. Following are just a few of the errors of Dispensationalism:
1. Context is not taken into consideration. Hermeneutics is ignored. We must seek to put ourself in the authors' linguistic, historical and religious frame of mind to discover the writers intended meaning. The Bible explains itself – Matthew 22:29
2. Cherry-picking verses is taking a part of a verse that is considered to be applicable. We are warned multiple times in Scripture not to add to or take away from it. ALL Scripture (the only Scripture at the time was the Old Testament) is given for teaching, rebuking and correction and training in righteousness – 2 Timothy 3:16
3. There are two Gospels – one for the Jew and one for the Gentiles. There is one gospel – Galatians 1:6-9
4. A distinction is made between Israel and the Church. Some go so far as to state that Church has replaced Israel. Believers are “grafted into Israel" -- Romans 11:19-20
5. Some believe Paul started a “new religion” Paul says he’s a Jew, who worshiped the God/Elohim of his fathers, “Believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets” – Acts 24:14

"Teaching them to GUARD all things, whatever I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:20).
Tumblr media
To "guard" means to not only to obey or observe, but the internal guarding a truth by cherishing with a desire to hold it within oneself.
"Teaching them to GUARD all things, whatever I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:20).
If your concern is only about salvation, let me be clear, salvation comes through God's grace alone. But salvation should not be your main concern or the reason for keeping His commandments. You ought to desire to keep His commands BECAUSE you are saved, not because you want to be saved.
At the wedding banquet we have Yeshua, the bride and the wedding guests. You will not be seen as the bride if you are not keeping His commands. He knows the bride intimately, and we know Him intimately if we know His word, His plan for us to live a lifestyle that is set-apart (holy), and His commands are the foundation of it.
For the Jews, Torah (His commands) should lead them to Messiah.
For the Gentile, Messiah should lead them to Torah.
Only the bride is keeping Torah and holding onto the testimonies of the Messiah.

Examples of the Divine Name in the text of Good News according to Mark 12:29-30.
1.Elias Hutter -The Nuremberg Polyglot 1599 - Mark 12:29-30 in verses 29 and 30 you can see the Divine Name יְהֹוָה YEHOVAH. Yeshua Messiah quotes the creed of Israel - "Shema Yisrael" (Deuteronomy 6:4) and the two most important commandments - one about love for God (Deuteronomy 6:5) and the other about love for neighbors (Leviticus 19:18).
2. The same verses in the Giovanni Battista Iona edition (1668) with the Divine Name.
3. Also Franz Delitzsch 1892, wyd. XI. of NT
4. And Salkinson-Ginsburg 1898
Elijah Hutter (1553-1609) was a professor of Hebrew at the University of Leipzig from 1577 and later taught Hebrew in Nuremberg. His greatest work was the Nuremberg Polyglot, published in 1599 in two volumes, i.e. the New Testament, and in as many as 12 languages: Hebrew, Syriac, Greek, Latin, German (he used Luther's translation), Czech, Italian, Spanish, Galician, English ( used the Geneva Bible), Danish and Polish.
His skills were highly appreciated by Franz Delitzsch (1813-1890), an outstanding German Hebrewist and professor at the universities in Rostock, Erlangen and Leipzig, who said that Hutter had a knowledge of the Hebrew language that was rare among Christians.
In 1668 Giovanni Battista Iona, i.e. Yehuda Yonah of Safed, converted to Catholicism and working for the Vatican, translated the Four Gospels into Hebrew. In his translation of Quatuor Evangelia Novi Testamenti Ex Latino in Hebraicum, the Divne Name appears several times in the spelling יְהֹוָה, i.e. YEHOVAH.
Translations of the New Testament into Hebrew that include the Divine Name יְהֹוָה or in European transliteration - YEHOVAH, do not finish with the work of Franz Delitzsch. In 1877, the year the British and Foreign Bible Society published the first complete edition of his Hebrew New Testament, Isaac Edward Salkinson undertook a similar translation at the request of the Bible Society's Committee. He was consoled by the hope that his work would enlighten many eyes in Israel, but unfortunately he was unable to complete it, as he died in 1883. Professor Delitzsch later wrote that he "would be greatly delighted if Salkinson's translation found many Jewish readers and was to lead many to the belief that Yeshua the Messiah is the noblest son of Israel, the most holy and divine Man and the Servant of the Lord who offered himself for his people and for the whole world of sinners.”
Salkinson's almost finished version (1881) was completed by Christian David Ginsburg from Warsaw, an outstanding expert on Hebrew texts and the Masora, and the whole work was published in 1891 under the title הברית החדשה (Ha-Berit ha-Ḥadashah), i.e. "The New Covenant". A characteristic feature of this edition of the New Testament is the presence of the Divine Name in the complete Masoretic notation יְהֹוָה, i.e. YEHOVAH.
The text of Mark 12:29-30, which is a quotation from Deuteronomy 6:4-5, clearly shows that YEHOVAH is one. Listen, O Israel ! Yehovah our God, Yehovah - one ! (Hebrew: אֶחָֽד eḥad - means one, single, absolutely one). This term in Hebrew excluded all binitarianism, trinitarianism, modalism and pluralism. The Divine Name clearly points to the Heavenly Father as the only one true God who is the Creator of the entire universe.

YOU ARE UNLEAVENED!
Tumblr media
Therefore cleanse out the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Messiah our Pěsacḥ was sacrificed for us. So then let us celebrate the Feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. QORINTIYIM ALEPH (1 CORINTHIANS) 5:7-8
For seven days you are to eat matzah, and the seventh day is to be a festival for YHVH. Matzah is to be eaten throughout the seven days; neither hametz nor leavening agents are to be seen with you throughout your territory. SHEMOTH (EXODUS) 13:6-7
“And it shall be as a sign to you on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes, that the Torah of יהוה is to be in your mouth, for with a strong hand יהוה has brought you out of Mitsrayim. SHEMOTH (EXODUS) 13:9
The Feast of Matzah (Unleavened Bread) speaks of who we truly are in Mashiach-Messiah. Redeemed and delivered from a life of sin.
Yehoshua, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed once and for all. Because of that sacrifice, our debt has been paid, and we no longer owe our lives to the grave. Just as the blood of the first Pesach sacrifices was applied to the doorposts of the homes of Yisrael captive in Egypt. Yehoshua's blood has been applied to the doorpost of our hearts. Yehovah's judgment will pass over us.
When we sin and give in to the desires of the flesh we remember who we used to be.
The crime for many believers is, they allow and entertain sin in their lives when in reality they are no longer sinners once repented, washed in the blood (water immersion), and filled with the Ruach Hakodesh.
When we partake of the Matzah, it reminds us not only that our Pesach - Messiah - also was sacrificed for us, but the He has been sacrificed so that our life could be UNLEAVENED.
This is who we truly are: righteous and without sin.
Abba. . . teach us what it means to be unleavened, to be without sin. Thank you for setting us free, that we may live a life no longer bound to the ways of the flesh. Help us Abba, to live in newness of life. Show us how to behave in following the WAY. Amein.

Are you really a Disciple of Messiah?

Are you a FAN or a DISCIPLE?
Tumblr media
Of all the religions of the world today none has as many divisions and denominations as (Roman Roots) Christianity. When speaking of Christianity, the word (is not in the Bible) by itself does not identify which of the many DIVISIONS of Christianity one is speaking of. (Question is, who has the truth?)
Although these churches have many similarities (a form of godliness, but they deny the power there of), some of them have great differences that are very crucial in defining what is supposed to be of they that follow the Messiah. These differences may include the identity/deity of Yehoshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ), Elohim's (God) plan of salvation, the existence of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), the existence of Satan, the 3 god Trinity, following the Torah, Elohim's (God) current and future relationship with the Jewish people, the mission and destiny of the Kedoshim (set-apart ones) or (church), and of course the identity of the true assembly of Yehoshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ).
So the question is? Were you called to BE . . . A Christian, Baptist, Pentecostal, Catholic, etc?
NO YOU WERE CALLED TO BE A DISCIPLE!
Of what? Christianity? NO . . . NO . . . NO
Leave your former ways in greco-roman Christianity and moving on to follow the TRUTH of the Way of Yehoshua Hamashiach. (Acts_24:14, Acts_24:5, Rev. 18:4)
Be a Disciple of Yehoshua HaNetzari!
A person who is a disciple of the WAY, Yehoshua Hamashiach (Jesus the Messiah), is not just a believer in Him; they are a person who has been transformed through the (Ruach HaKodesh) Holy Ghost and his or her lifestyle is conformed to HIS teachings - accepting the whole council of Yehovah-God and the Hebraic foundations of both Brit-HaDashah (Renewed Covenant) and Tanakh (The Scriptures). Also continuing in the original teachings of the Apostles in the book of Acts (Apostolic Writings) (Acts 2:42), not just those parts of the scriptures that are comfortable for you. You are being called back to the Hebraic Restoration of the Faith (Jude 1:3)

Do I have to keep the TORAH?
Tumblr media
Deu 11:1  “And you shall love יהוה your Elohim and guard His charge even His laws, and His right-rulings, and His commands, always.
2Jn 1:6  And this is the love, that we walk according to His commands. This is the command, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.
Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the faith of Yeshua.  (Rev 14:12)
