You said you wanted genuine answers so here they are, to the best of my ability.
1. Depends on what's going on the fic? If you're talking socially, omegas usually aren't supposed to be around alphas because alphas(in a lot of fics) are just really prone to wanting to have sex with them with or without consent. This is usually only actually a problem with heats or ruts bc those make the pheromones go out of wack.
2. Being an omega is not illegal it's just the second wolf gender that is closer to woman and therefore very oppressed and shamed despite not being a choice
3. Suppressants... I don't know if they have an equivalent in real life. They're made to stop heats/ruts, which are in fact the same as what they are for animals but for humans. They just kinda stop your heat/rut. The reasons people in omegaverse typically take them is bc they're an omega who doesn't want their pheromones to make alphas try and take advantage of them or they just really don't wanna deal with the hassle of going through a heat or rut, bc they really are bothersome.

part of this is inspired by a cod fic lmao
anyway the choir is a small circus crew. Father Marcus is the ringleader. Ocean does aerial silks with Penny/Jane. Constance is a rope walker who used to be a clown but wasn't a fan at the way people started to view her(as a joke.). NOW. THE GOOD PART THAT I WOULD WRITE(would also write the girls but this iohdsf)
Ricky and Noel used to be twin acrobats, but Ricky's illness eventually led to them not being able to perform with Noel. Despite this, the two are still very close(yes the starrypoet is canon here). Father Marcus eventually finds another acrobat to perform with Noel in the form of one Mischa Bachinski. It would all go from there, with ricky x noel x mischa being endgame because i love them
