Watching Victoria Monet, SZA and Miley's excitement and humility over receiving just one award and then Taylor coming up there being "this is my 13th" really put it into perspective. She was insane for that.
It's genuinely amusing how tone deaf Taylor is. Announcing her album mid-show and overshadowing everyone else, snubbing Celine Dion and then dragging one of the losers up on stage with her. For all her media savvy she has 0% self-awareness when u get her into a room full of industry peers.

Felt much the same about Poker Face and tbh I think it was their attempt to be cute and subvert audience expectations and then they fell flat on their poker faces politically. Though I also figure they were comfortable with that portrayal because of their lacking politics. It's a fun show but I found it's overall, to be very underwhelming :/
Underwhelming is the word. I'm not as into the Columbo-style reveal of the murderers in the beginning either. Would've preferred a more of a classic-style whodunit.

It's the jack antonoff connection. It's whatever. Taylor likes to latch onto whoever she doesn't perceive as a threat. Weird to drag her up on stage after she lost though.
