They were lost souls; two similarly stranded creatures with a love for the wind in their hair and whiskey in the evening. At most they were tentative friends - enjoying one another’s company when they happened across each other during their travels. The skeletons of their past and distrust of others kept them each at arm’s length, but that was exactly how they liked it. It was like a game and a refreshing breath of a air. They would drink and raise a little hell before going their own way the next morning.
Then Aine became a target.
A group of hunters are chasing down the werewolf for reasons that only they know. When they get a leg up on her, it’s pure coincidence that the fae happens to be in the area and can taste their ill intent in the air. She saves her drinking buddy, and together they decide to hunt down the hunters both for answers and the simple fun of it. Thus starts a road trip full of bar fights, hotel trashing and good-natured supernatural mischief along the way. Just hope they don’t show up on your doorstep, yeah?
