Update: I'm messing around with heavy guitar tones again. This is gonna inspire me to go back to heavy music. I'm in a 70's style rock band, have songs for an edgy emo pop-rock album, but this is inspiring.
Wait, are we serious? I accidentally click Tumblr because it's still bookmarked? And this is the first thing I see? Not only is the original picture flawed, but the logic used to dispute it is actually contradictory. This is what it should look like
I wanted to practice my screaming/mixing, so I recorded a very new Rise Against-esque original song. I actually kinda dig my screams. Makes up for the singing, which needs some work
So I'm getting more and more confident with my singing, which makes me kind of happy. Control and technique and all. I really only like my voice in my low/mid register, but it's fun to be able to pull this off half decently. (Oh, this is a really abridged acoustic version of Like The Angel by Rise Against)
Here's an idea for the back catalogue. Threw my Tele through a new overdrive pedal, which is also running through my *new* cab, and it sounded so cool I had to get this down so I don't forget it. The guitar tone is so pro, it makes me want to write upbeat poppy stuff
I gotta start exploring my 7 String more. When I got the thing, I knew I didn't wanna just use it for widdly widdly chug chug kinda stuff. I wanted to have some sort of sense of melody. I might have to start incorporating this into some writing
