Well.
I believe it’s very easy to do. Just speak to them more often, ask how their day is, ask about their interests, disinterests, people love when you ask them about themselves, as they love talking about themselves.
You being banished might make it impossible for you to physically interact in person, but it is really no excuse. Especially considering you are on this site. Go ask your son how his day is or face my fish wrath.
