Songs From 2019 (one per artist)

Another mixed bag of stuff i either enjoyed a lot, thought was excellent or interesting (regardless of taste… sort of), emerging artists to maybe look out for, and generally music that for whatever reason connected with me in some way, including the odd earworm i just couldn’t shake. Some artists are left off just to vary a little more from some other popular lists. Hope you enjoy some of this too and find something new to be taken by. Please do buy their music if you can and hopefully from a local independent record store if possible to support their work. Advance Base - Your Dog (Owen Ashworth is a longtime favourite and always love what he puts out. Such a gifted lyricist and such an empathetic deliverer, just always cutting deep, just always sounding uniquely him. Once Again.....

Just a selection of music/audio/sounds from the year gone by, that mostly i enjoyed a good deal or thought was pretty outstanding, interesting or notable in some fashion. Some of them i think are exceptional (for numerous reasons & regardless of taste), some of them i’m very fond of as artists/songs, some are there as artists to maybe look out for, and some others are just earworms or songs that just stayed knocking about in my head and are just nice to know - and perhaps might have been missed; some songs/artists are in here ahead of others just to vary it over other lists.

123 Songs From 2014 (one per artist) .... (plus extras)

Hello. Here again is a grouping of music/audio/sounds from the year gone by. That year being 2014, the 12th year of the month. These are just 123 songs from a big batch of songs/artists i could have chosen from the year that i enjoyed a good deal or thought was pretty outstanding or notable, but you gotta cap it somewhere. (Key word here is “from”, and not “of” 2014) - it’s just a selection from the past year.

As always it’s a mixed bag as i’m fond of, and fascinated by, many styles & sounds and find value & richness in them all in one way or another. Some of them i think are exceptional (for numerous reasons & regardless of taste), some of them i’m very fond of as artists/songs, some are there as artists to look out for, and some others are just earworms or pleasing songs that just stayed knocking about in my head and are just nice to know & perhaps might have been missed; some songs/artists are in here ahead of others just to vary it over other lists.

Hopefully there’s something new in here for you that you might be into.

Thought i'd put up another list of songs/artists from 2012 that i liked, just to share some more music folks might have missed. So many of these could just have easily made it onto the "101 Songs..." list and i think they're just as great, if not greater, as the ones that did, for the most part. 101 Songs of 2011 (one per artist)

I didn't really search too far and wide for much music this year, so most of these names won't be too unfamiliar with folks, but i still listened to a fair amount and i'm sure there are at least an artist/song or two that you don't know in here somewhere. These are just 101 songs of many more songs/artists i could have chose - i've gone back and forth debating which to list - but you gotta cap it somewhere. A lot of them i think are exceptional (for numerous reasons), some of them just melodically pleasing that are just nice to know. Some songs/artists are in here ahead of others just to vary it.
