We are so excited to announce that we will be starting our book club on June 1st! This is an exciting collaboration between the Fated Feud, Twisted Kingdoms, and Ice & Thirst servers!
Everyone is welcome to join in!
How will it work?
First, join the servers and make sure that you choose a book club role to be pinged about weekly reading reminders, streaming nights, and server spin-off events.
Ice and Thirst will be hosting the book discussion via the Book Club channel. Please choose the book club role & join the threads of books that you're reading!
Fated Feud will be hosting the monthly book club voting, as well as weekly reading reminders and spin-off events. There will be 2 books picked each month to give everyone a range of options to choose from!

A Deep Dive: Kim’s Fight Scene in Yok’s Bar
I’ve been thinking about this scene a lot lately, and I just have so many thoughts on it.
Like low-key, but imo what makes this scene so mesmerizing yet also chilling at the same time is the fact that Kim never eliminates the possibility of Chay turning around at any time and witnessing Kim kill in order to protect him.
Whereas Porsche tends to protect Chay by keeping him from seeing the reality of the mafia life (and tragically blindsides both himself and his brother because of it; Chay because he remains ignorant of his new environment and Porsche because his judgement of the risks in keeping Chay ignorant is impaired due to his overprotectiveness), Kim protects him only from the danger of it.
It’s an all around interesting narrative choice from BOC, especially considering that it’s Kim’s one fight scene in the entire series.

This blogger remembers just how hard the creators of AO3 worked to build the thing we all seem to take for granted now.
This blogger watched friends dive into the creation process so heartily and determinedly that they all but disappeared from the writing/gaming/artistic side of their fandom for YEARS while they worked to make the archive happen.
This blogger remembers the sense of giddy wonder that there would possibly be LAWYERS involved, willing to defend our right to create these works, and not leave us hanging at the mercy of corporate legal teams.
This blogger is aware that she reads between twenty to fifty books’ worth of material every year on AO3, and is never REQUIRED to pay a penny for the privilege of getting access.
This blogger is aware that she will not ever see advertisements on AO3, and that her personal data and reading preferences won’t be sold to advertisers in order to raise the money that AO3 needs to pay for the services they provide.
This blogger is aware that AO3 is, and has always been, a labor of love; by fans, for fans, and not for profiting off fans – and this is what makes it unique in the whole of the media universe.
This blogger has NEVER taken AO3 for granted, and has ALWAYS been damned glad to have access to it. Even in years when this blogger didn’t have the means to support it financially.

So watched the entire first season of Kinnporsche over the last two days, it's fucking phenomenal, great characters and the writing is brilliant.
It tickled every part of me. Made me laugh, cry, get aroused, smile and gasp in horror/shock.
My favourite characters have to be: Tankhun, Kim, Kinn, Pete, Chay and Porsche.
Go watch it if you can, you won't be disappointed.

Saera Targaryen- curly blonde hair, purple Eyes. The First Born. Alpha Prime daughter of Lucerys and Aemond, twin sister to Aenyx. Rider of Darkling. Fiercely protective of her family, a warrior woman, dubbed The Realms Rose as her beauty hides her sharp tongue and fury.
Aenyx Targaryen- curly blonde hair, purple eyes. The Second Born. omega son of Lucerys and Aemond, twin brother to Saera. Rider of Starlight. Shy, observant and gifted young man. A dreamer like his aunt Helaena and not quick to anger.
Harwin Targaryen- straight brown hair, purple eyes. The Third Born, omega son of Lucerys and Aemond. Rider of Swiftflight. Rambunctious, smart and kind. A historian like his father and a spitfire like his mother and grandmother.
Laenora Targaryen- straight blonde hair, brown eyes. The Fourth Born, omega daughter of Lucerys and Aemond. Rider of Meraxes II. Her father's spitting image, stoic, careful, fierce and quick to anger. Said to be more deadly than her dragon.
Aemma Targaryen- curly blonde hair, purple eyes. The Fifth Born, Alpha daughter of Lucerys and Aemond. Rider of Valryia. Generous with her affections, outgoing and smart with all the poise of her mother. Usually found with her guards visiting the smallfolk.
Haena Targaryen- curly brown hair, brown eyes. The Sixth Born, omega daughter of Lucerys and Aemond. Rider of Fearless. Lashes out at those who displease her, will usually act before she thinks, loyal to her family and protective over her mother.
Daemon Targaryen- curly brown hair, brown eyes. The Last Born, Alpha son of Lucerys and Aemond. Rider of Caraxes when Daemon the Older passes away. Very much a warrior like his eldest sister, sharp tongued, brutal on the field of battle and a historian.

What's the difference between a headcanon, one shot, and a drabble?
Hello!
So a headcanon is a bullet pointed list of personality traits for a character - i.e. “Aemond has a hairless asshole and he’s super proud of it.”
A one-shot is a fully fledged story that’s told all in one part - usually doesn’t entertain the possibility of further parts being added i.e. “Once upon a time there was a Targaryen Prince with a hairless asshole…[story here]…he died. The end.”
A drabble is a short story that’s usually less than a thousand words, it can follow the format of a regular fic or be written as an imagine - i.e. “imagine there’s a Targaryen prince with a hairless asshlole and he’s desperate for you to see it…”
