My birthday this year was smaller. I had work and everyone had plans for the most part.
Oh well. The planet knew what it was getting into when it allowed me to keep seeing, tasting, hearing, breathing, and creating. That's an oversight on their part, not mine.

Good luck to those preserving those Gmod addons currently being removed from the Garry's Mod Steam Workshop.
I was at work when I heard about it so I'm pretty much too late to save some of my favorites already, but I'll salvage what I can when I get home.

Splin and Sharq are technically OCs from a dead game (officially).
Koonak and the others are OCs who never really had to deal with live service or online-only problems, so I like to think that everyone thinks the Splatoon 1 dudes are just going to cease to exist.
Made a sketch about this scenario.

Ari, Splin and Sharq were named "Agent C, B, and A" respectively because I thought it was funny that in Splatoon there technically would be HUNDREDS of Agent 3s running around due to other players.
So I thought it was funny if Cap'n Cuttlefish ran out of numbers to call people.
Ramblings about OCs below:
This was before Splatoon 2 came out with Octo Expansion and just had Agent 8 named 8. Considering the amount of people who got the DLC, there would be a bunch of Octolings running around with the title "Agent 8".
Like, it's so funny that the title of "Agent 3" is so disposable especially with Splatoon 3 giving it to the new Inkling/Octoling after the original 3 became Captain. My Splatoon characters are still in a limbo between 1 and 2 so we never got to that point, but that sounds like such a funny thing to point out.
I don't remember if I wrote them taking it super seriously. These three never really became "agents" of the Squidbeak Splatoon. They were roped in as temporary agents even more on a whim than the actual Agent 3, mostly because I thought I had to make fanfiction and fan-art of these guys in accordance with the canon of Splatoon.
Not that it matters actually considering I was using the translated and sometimes flat out wrong details of the game world.
But yeah. Ari, Splin, and Sharq are technically agents. It just doesn't matter because they barely interact with the other agents aside from running into each other during random outings or for chores.

Saw the scene in the episode where Doc gets arched by those artsy Doom Factory villains where he plays TF2 with Hatred.
Funny to think it was 8 years ago. I like to think that Rusty doesn't give a single shit about the bot crisis in servers considering his gameplay. He's like, burning Sgt. Hatred who looks like he's AFK.
It's kinda interesting to me how the Venture Bros. and TF2 have no correlation outside of the Adult Swim collaboration items from years ago + how differently they are perceived now.
The Venture Bros. capped off with a movie that a lot of fans liked. Well, that hasn't changed, Venture Bros. is still great. On the other hand, Team Fortress 2's official matchmaking is kneecapped by a bunch of robots rn and is hobbling along, just sorta barely living on through community efforts.
I mean hey, at least TF2's not dead-dead and unplayable due to long queue times or player numbers in the double-digits to single-digits like some games I know.
Looking too far into this right now, I know. It's got me all nostalgic about older times that weren't necessarily *better*. That said, I could play a match of TF2 where 9.9 times out of 10, I wasn't instantly blasted the second my head steps out of cover.
Plus, Venture Bros. is a show, not a game shambling on with all its vital organs duct taped together. That will keep being enjoyable, can't really ruin that with Sniper robots.

Today is C4ll13 day, day for Callies, so here's this sketch of the Venture Bros. logo I just made because I finished the series. Phenomenal. Loved the writing.
Like Two Best Friends Play, I understood 15% of the references but enjoyed it and now have new things to check out.

The Big N found me playing Splatoon three hours after they said "Splatoon 1 servers are offline" and kicked me out. Callie and Marie are gone now...............
My last match someone drew a heartfelt message with the Inkbrush. I have more thoughts on this game but that will be for later.

I was going to make a R.I.P. Wii U and 3DS online post but rn I'm still in Splatoon 1 two hours after the other servers are down.
It's a work day so I'm not going to be part of the "Halo 2" last players but I had a lot of fun. I feel like they missed a few squids.

Sharq gets a second opinion from a friend.
Which would be all well and good if anyone KNEW Neco-Arc on the "abandoned OC island". Thanks Anon Train for bringing this thing here even though she fits none of the criteria.
