Things I鈥檝e Learned
1. Take the High Road for the simple reason that it will make you feel good about yourself.
2. If you鈥檙e wondering whether or not you should spend time explaining the facts to someone who probably just wants to argue and sees an enemy around every corner, don鈥檛. 聽Don鈥檛 bother. 聽Do not engage. 聽Hold your peace. 聽
3. Some women will treat you as an inferior, regardless of any skills or education you possess that far surpass their own, simply because they have previously housed a human being in their uterus. 聽Ignore them. 聽Do not let them or their comments live rent free in your mind. 聽
4. If you disagree with someone鈥檚 opinion and that opinion isn鈥檛 causing you or anyone else to be in actual danger, just move on. 聽It doesn鈥檛 matter. 聽Trust me.
5. Someone else鈥檚 incompetence isn鈥檛 a valid reason for you to make a conscious choice to slack off yourself. 聽Refer to #1.聽
6. People who are only interested in shallow relationships are, guess what, SHALLOW. 聽Take that as a clue. 聽
7. Temporary pain is better than permanent scars. 聽Take care of that Thing now, before it becomes untreatable. 聽
8. Forgive yourself.
9. Don鈥檛 wait. 聽Go to the restroom.
10. Keep some lotion in your purse.
