Dude me too. 😂 Plus, the time it takes is like a full time job. You have to find the coupons, plan your shopping trips to a t, and one screw up can ruin the whole thing. It’s a lot to do.
Okay quick question: How does couponing work? We don’t have those in Australia and I hear stories all the time about how people would normally spend about $100 but instead spends $20 thanks to coupons. HOW DO THEY WORK?!

Which is just another reason why America sucks. XD On the upside, thanks to coupons, my family of 6 doesn’t have to worry about things like razors, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, and quite a few other things for at least the next year. Which seems so stupid, buying these things and having a huge amount of them. But it’s money that can go towards groceries throughout the year, you know? And I spent less than $250 on my whole “stockpile”. Which is small, compared to most.

Tax is taken out at the end of the transaction, and the amount varies state by state. Delaware does not have any sales tax, so what you see on the price tag is what you pay. However, in most stores in the states, when you see a price you need to add a bit more to it. If something is $3.50, you’re paying closer to, if not more than, $4 after taxes.

Yep, we sure are. But sometimes we have to do what we have to do to live. Cost of living is going too high and pay wages aren’t rising with it. So we find ways to survive.  Is it embarrassing? Yes. At least, for me it is. I don’t necessarily like handing a stack of coupons over. I don’t like the looks I get, the attitude I get, the judgement. But it’s a small price to pay to guarantee I don’t have to decide between what basic necessities my family has. Things like laundry detergent always end up running out at the worst times. This helps.

I do this from time to time, not often. So, say you have a coupon for $2 off one item. The item is $4. The store has a sale on them for $2 off, making the item $2. Use your $2 coupon on top of the sale and bam, free item (after paying tax). Or say the store sale is $3 off the item. If you then use the $2 coupon, you would get the item for free + $1 overage to go towards your purchase of other items in your transaction. This only happens if your store offers overage, as not all stores do so. Also, some stores will double coupons (making one coupon for $0.50 = $1.00) but not most. There are issues with people using coupons, however, Coupons have limits. They are written on the coupon. You can only use x amount per transaction or per day. You can only use them on certain items. There are people who try and take advantage of this and find ways to use coupons on items that are NOT covered, but are scanning through just fine. This is theft, and should never be acceptable.

The. Fuck. Is. This. Shit.

Autism Speaks is accepting support from Soldiers of Odin, a white supremacist vigilante group, and happily featuring their group portrait on their website asking for $ to fund their shitty autistic-abusing organisation. As A$ are flat-out eugenicists and the organisation’s leadership is in bed with Trump, I for one am very unfucking surprised that they’re chill with their money-making events being full of actual Nazis. So much for their new ‘progressive’ mission statement. Do not trust or support A$.
