That’s because the 2nd house is 8 houses away from the 7th house. In Vedic astrology the 8th house not only rules death and rebirth but also longevity.

Here’s an example from my sidereal natal chart:

I have the Moon in the 2nd house. This predicted that my first marriage would be very short because the Moon is the fastest moving planet. It only stays in a sign for 2-3 days. My first marriage lasted a whopping 10 months before I left him.

Side note: We shouldn’t have gotten married BUT I want to point out that we had been together for 12 years before getting married.

7th house lord is Saturn, the slowest moving planet that rules commitment = reason why we were together for 12 years

The 12th house is 6 houses away from the 7th house. In Vedic astrology the 6th house rules divorce because it is exactly 12 houses away from the 7th house (and the 12th house rules endings). My 12th house lord is the Moon, which is in the 2nd house = first marriage ending in divorce.

To find out about your second marriage, you count 8 houses away from the 2nd house = 9th house.

On Astro Seek change the “1st House from:” to the sign that rules your 3rd house. This will move your 9th house to the 7th house. You will then read this “new chart” to find out the characteristics of your second marriage, including the longevity of the marriage.

This method works not only for marriages but also serious romantic relationships! If you find malefic planets in the “new” 2nd house that suggest the second marriage/relationship ending, you can then count 8 houses away from the “new” 2nd house, which will again lead to the 9th house. In this “new” chart the 9th house is actually the 11th house in your natal chart.

7th house = 1st marriage 9th house = 2nd marriage 11th house = 3rd marriage

2nd house = longevity of 1st marriage

4th house = longevity of 2nd marriage

6th house = longevity of 3rd marriage

If you have malefic planets in any of the above houses like:

Mars

Rahu/North Node

Ketu/South Node

Uranus

The 12th lord

The 6th lord

These would suggest that the first marriage/serious relationship will likely end in divorce/breakup. If Pluto is present, this would suggest the marriage ending in the death of either you or your spouse = “till death do us part” vibes. Notice I didn’t include Saturn, which is considered a “malefic” planet. But when it comes to relationships and marriage, Saturn represents commitment.

If you end up having the Moon in your 2nd house, don’t worry unless it’s the 12th or 6th house lord.

For example, Celine Dion's Sirene conjunct Neptune and her famous songs are "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic, a movie about ship tragedy at sea. This is something a little different from what I usually post and I wanted to just try something new and also go down the route of lots and asteroids eventually. So, with that being said, I hope you enjoy!

This placement may indicate that you have a lot of determination and willpower when it comes to getting things done, so you’re definitely a hard worker too. Your personality shines through in your everyday life so in work fields that rely on you having a vibrant personality would really work best for natives with this placement. If you want to really get the most out of this placement, i’d say you need to take initiative and persue your dreams!! If you put yourself out there you will get what you want!! There’s a lot of people who talk badly about this number but I personally believe it’s because they’re trying to hide the power of it. I don’t agree with the bad things a lot of numerologists say about it or with a lot of what numerologists say in general so a lot of this will be things you probably haven’t read online

🕊 9’s are not master numbers but they do have an ability no other number has which is to enhance others numerological energy and make them a better version of themself. They are also one of the most creative life path numbers

🕊 9’s get along the least with 11’s. Romantically/sexually we sometimes will still be attracted to our enemy number though so you have to force yourself to avoid them. Usually bad things happen when these numbers come together. It’s also seen in many world events such as the 9/11 twin tower incident, the flight 191 (unscrambled 911) crash, the number 911 to call in negative situations, etc. You should also avoid flying on 9 days, 11 days, or 7 days

🕊 9 is one of the numbers of beauty in numerology. These people are often seen as some of the most beautiful people by society unless they have bad karma they have not yet worked through. They must work through karma to have a glow up. Karma shows in your appearance
