8:40, October 8th

While the storm that shook the forest so violently that some trees were uprooted has subsided into light rain, the land surrounding it still suffers from the aftermath. Firstly, everything is draped in a glowing haze. While it may shock some at a quick glance, the fog itself is completely harmless. Inside of it however, somewhere in the abyss- is a voice that cries for assistance every few seconds or so. If one were to pursue after it, they might find that no matter where they go, the source is unidentified. 

Of course, they might also notice a pair of eyes are always watching them, but we can only hope they don't see that.

8:40 pm, October 8th

The storm has calmed down. Though it's still raining, father has moved us back in the house due to the flooding. Everything that was on the floor is soaked and mother has been having a fuss all day about how much she will have to clean when this is over. 

I've been ignoring them for the recent hours as my mind has been elsewhere. Outside there seems to be a lot of fog about and I keep hearing someone shouting for help. I know if I ask to go out there father will tell me no one is there and I need to learn how to grow up, but still. It wouldn't hurt to check. What if they're suffering and hurt or stuck in the mud and need help out? I don't want to be the person who lets them down when I knew they were there.

7:30, October 6th

A storm has brewed over the forest, igniting the darkness of the night with a vibrant flashing light every few seconds or so. The rain, hard and battering, strikes down upon the earth with a force that might cause pain along bare skin if standing in it too long. While it's hard to keep one's footing due to the wind, the change in direction every minute or so might sweep someone right off their feet if they were to fall a certain way. 

It should be noted, while in this fiasco of terrorizing weather, that there are loud noises shaking the trees of the forest. A deep hum, vocalized and never ending, can be heard over the crashes of thunder. If that isn't something to send someone running to safety, perhaps the sight of dozens of shadowed figures surfacing and clawing through the debris and plant life will.

Don't let them near you. Don't let them touch you.

7:30, October 6th

There's a horrible storm outside. Mother and father demanded that we all stay in the cellar tonight just in case anything happens. I'm frightened. The town has never had anything like this before. When I had looked out my window, the wind was blowing very viciously and trees were nearly bending over backwards because of it. The lightning was quite bright and the thunder shook the house so bad I thought I might lose my balance if I stood up. But that wasn't really what scared me the most. What was so frightening was that I could hear deep voices chanting words I couldn't understand and..and I saw something.

It was staring back at me through my window and in the forest.      I never want to see it again.
