Pausing, he looked back to the woman looking over her. "A seamstr'ss though? Tha' seems a lo' more difficul' th'n wha' ah do. Workin' with colours and all tha'." Berwald almost surprised himself with how much he was talking to someone he just met. But somehow, he already felt comfortable talking with her.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you so much,” Grace said, following behind in an awkward silence after. After a couple moments, she said, “I just lose things and direction is one of them so easily. But, ah, yes, I don’t lose sight of the colours in front of me when sewing or whatever. That’s the one thing I don’t lose. What about you? Why do you work here at Ikea?”

Berwald took a few moments to think, and finally decided to just ask his question. "Ya kee' talkin' abou' all th' colours ... do ya des'gn cloth's or somethin'?"

Berwald had just finished helping set up a new display that featured a few of his pieces, and was just starting to head back home when he seen a woman running towards him.
At first he assumed she was just going to pass by him, but when she stopped in front of him he was definitely confused. When she explained she was lost however everything clicked into place. He was wearing the ikea shirt afterall.
“Yer los’? Were ya lookin’ for somethin’ or jus’ a way ou’?”

Berwald couldn't help but stare, as it took a few moment for him to register what the woman had just said, since she was talking so fast. Clearing his throat, he nodded quickly.
"Yeah don' worry ah ca'. Easy to ge' los' in here." With out another word, Berwald began walking back towards the entrance with the other close behind.
Getting Lost In Ikea?!?! SHOOT SHOOT I NEED- ...Can you help me theikeaman?
Grace had decided to go to Ikea for the day. It was a beautiful complex.
And when you go around admiring everything, you can get lost.
Arrows don’t help much. They lie. They lie so much.
“Shoot shoot shoot shoot,” Grace said, spinning in place. She tried to not curse because she was lost around a crowd of kids as well.
Then someone caught her eye. “Excuse me, I’m lost!” She ran over to him.

Berwald couldn't help but smile to himself at the thought of the man throwing someone out of the bar. He may have bean in the army but for some reason he couldn't picture him being violent or forceful in any way. Though he decided it was probably his ignorance and inability to judge character.
"It wa' th' only thin' tha' Ah coul' thin' of. Plus woodsho' wa' ma favour'te class in h'ghschoo'. So ah guess it's a pretty fu' jo'."

Grabbing the drink, Berwald mumbled a quick thank-you to Tino. After taking the first sip, he couldn’t help but notice how easy it was to ignore the burn in his throat. He wasn’t a light weight, but since he hadn’t drank in at least a year and a half he figured it would have more of an effect earlier on. He did feel a bit pathetic though, tipsy after only one drink.
He decided to try and hide the fact, due to fear of Tino looking down on him because of it. He was never a very good actor, but he hoped somehow he would be able to pull it off.
“So wha’ made ya wan’ to work at a ba’? Ah mea’, yer job is pract’cally to deal w’th drun’ pe’ple all nigh’. Tha’ doesn’ seem too fun.”

Sighing lightly, Berwald shook his head. “It’s a bi’ stereotypical  bu’ ah des’gn and buil’ furni’ure. They needed more pe’ple ove’ here, an’ since I didn’ have much to leave behin’, they decide’ to tran’fer me. I shouldn’ compla’n though. It’s st’ll a job.”
Picking the drink back up, Berwald finished the rest off and slid the empty glass back to Tino.

After nodding a couple of times, Berwald shifted his gaze back to the alcohol filling the shelves behind Tino. "Oh, do ya min' gettin' me a glass of rum T'no? Am st'll a bi' thirsty."

"Ya thin'? It ca' be stressfu' somet'mes. Tho'gh, no' a' stressfu' as the m'litary am guessin'."
Berwald suddenly realized that even though they were talking about their lives, they still didn't know each others names. Not wanting to be rude, he decided to start. "Am Berw'ld by th' way. It's nice to mee' ya." Berwald attempted to give the other a smile, which he assumed he interpreted as a smirk or glare. He quickly dropped the look at the thought and went back to his usual stoic expression.

Berwald would be lying if he said he wasn’t even slightly impressed. Just looking at the man, he wouldn’t have expected him to have been in the army.
”No’ a very in’eres’ing reason. Ah ha’ to transfer here for ma job. Yer life seems a lo’ more excitin’, bein’ in th’ army.”

“I moved here a few days ago from Finland.”
Tino smiled and shrugged. “I learned some Swedish in school. I’m not very good at it though.”
He set the glass he was cleaning down and picked up another. Berwald seemed interested enough to answer his questions, so Tino deemed he was good to talk to.
“I served in Afghanistan for three years then moved here after I left. It’s a lot more peaceful here, I’ll tell you that.”
He laughed lightly.
“Why’d you move here?”

As Berwald was watching the other man, he couldn’t help but notice the slight limp he walked with. He wanted to ask, but decided that would be going a bit too far considering they didn’t even know each other. It was probably a pretty personal topic he wouldn’t want to discuss with a total stranger. That didn’t stop him from wondering however.
He dropped the thought once the glass was set down in front of him. After taking the first sip of the drink and giving himself a moment to get used to the unique taste, Berwald quickly took another before looking back up to the bar tender. “Thank ya. It tastes goo’.”

"It's f'ne don' worry. Ah unders'and wha' ya mea'." After hearing what Aurel had to say about getting coffee, Berwald couldn't stop the craving that crept up. "Were ya thin'ing of goin' to ge' some coffee righ' away? Cause I thin' Ah am, and if yah don' min' maybe ya coul' join me?"
Running into candlewaxedpoetic
Berwald took Aurel’s hand and shook it quickly before dropping it again. He gave himself a mental pat on the back for making it this far into a conversation. “Yea’. Nic’ to mee’ ya too.”

After a couple more sips, Berwald finally set the drink back down in front of him.
"No' really. Move' here las' month actually. Am from Swed'n." After a short debate in his head, he decided to ask the question back to the other. "Wha' abou' ya? Ya have a bi' of a' accen' too."

Tino set to work immeadeatly. He poured some hot water into a cup, followed by vodka, some salt, and somelicorice he had been lucky enough to find, crushed first. He let it sit for a while before giving it a quick stir. Then he handed it to Berwald.
“Here. We didn’t have Salmiakki, so I substituded that for normal licorice. I don’t think it matters though.”

Berwald had already felt awkward enough just walking into the bar, with everyone staring at him. So when the bartender looked at him with a smile and talked to him, he felt slightly flustered. Sure it was the mans job, but there were many people already that had denied him any service because ‘his looked to intimidating, and it might scare the other customers away.’ Looking at the selection behind the bar, Berwald had a hard time making up his mind, as he usually didn’t drink. “No’ s’re. Wha’ do ya reccomen’?”

Not having ever tried a drink similar to the one the man suggested Berwald decided to take a chance and try it. He gave a quick nod and took a seat on one of the stools in front of him. "Soun's goo'."
As the other set to work on the drink, Berwald couldn't help but watch as he fluttered around behind the counter. In his eyes, he was rather graceful.

Tino looked up from the glass he was cleaning at the person who had sat at the bar. He smiled and leaned on the counter.
“What do you need?”
He asked, feeling at ease with the job he had snagged for himself. It was easy enough, being a bartender after all.
