As someone who studies natural sciences, I think Coruscant as a planet is very interesting in a very horrifying way.
There is nothing natural there. The whole planet is completely dead. No natural climate, no hydrological cycle, no natural seasons, no fauna or vegetation left. The planet is completely dead, in a biological sense.
Coruscant is haunted because it's dead, and the only thing left there from the planet itself are ghosts.

There's always something vaguely mesmerizing about Radiosilence x Voxval fics where hay-day vox is essentially trying to court both these people who are miles out of his league for their own separate reasons and you have Alastor who comes out of the whole experience like: " He is the most obnoxious, repulsive man I have ever had the displeasure of meeting my entire existence, mother warned me this would happen to boys like me in the big city. I shall never recover from this."
Smash cut to Valentino, currently giggling frantically in his bar stool, twirling his antenna like "Holy shit he's SO fucking sweet & nice to me. You've hit the jackpot now honey there ain't ever gonna be someone better."

the scariest thing about old tv isnt really the racism or the sexisim because you kinda go in braced for that it's all the scenes where suddenly an actress is holding a lion cub or a chimpanzee is in the same room as a toddler, or suddenly theres a lion, or there's a chimpanzee again but it's driving a car, or holding a lighter, or holding fireworks. You just kind of watch in horror as over and over an actress performs with only 1960s tv film shootings best animal handling between her and the opening to Nope.
