The Cat Bothering Project
It started with a dream. A dream of bothering every single cat in the world. But it is a dream I cannot hope to achieve alone.
I need people around the world -- people just like you -- to boop cats on the nose for me and tell me about it. If you get photographic evidence of the boop and tag me in it or submit it here, I will post it so the entire world can see your noble efforts to expand the army of bothered cats!(Bonus points if you indicate what country you're from so I know how far my bothersome influence extends!)

Hey cat botherers! An update on PK and Dixie:
Dixie is adjusting very well to her new life as an indoor cat living in the lap of… well, me, if not quite luxury. She figured out the litter box with minimal trouble and seems to enjoy exploring the house when I let her out of her room. She does stare longingly out of windows like she misses the outdoors, but she has yet to attempt any escape. She also hasn’t quite figured out how to use her little paws to make the treat bear give her food. That’s a work in progress.
PK is not happy about an additional cat in the house. She and Dixie interact mostly through hisses, mostly on PK’s end. Still, it’s early days, and I have faith they’ll eventually adjust. For the time being, I’m alternating who gets to explore the house while the other is locked up in their own room. This way the house smells like both cats, and they both have “home bases” to retreat to.
Sorry for taking so long to get the blog back up and running! I had my first day of work today, so things can officially start getting back on schedule. Thanks for your patience!

I got Dixie today!! She didn't want to cooperate by going into the carrier the easy way, so I ultimately had to tackle her with a blanket and wrestle her into the carrier. She wasn't happy about it (nor was I) but she's home! I'll keep you all updated on how she's settling in and how introductions to PK are going. Regular posting resumes tomorrow!

I tried to take a picture of PK to show how she’s settling into the new house, but as soon as I acknowledged her existence, she did this.
She’s still pretty nervous; she follows me everywhere and sits on me whenever she can, and if I disappear for too long she goes into hiding, but she is making progress and I think she’ll like it here.

Hi cat botherers!
I’m in the process of moving and trying to catch and socialize cats (I successfully got PK today, but Dixie wiggled out of the carrier before I could close it so I’ll have to try her again) so this blog is going on (a very brief!!!) pause for a few days. I don’t have super reliable internet access while moving, and introducing the cats to their new home will take basically all my energy.
Keep submitting those bothers though! And don’t forget -- thecatbotheringproject does not discriminate against weird cats, including those with feathers, scales, or wagging tails.
