ANOTHER CHAPTER!!
My only notes for the last two chapters:
“With Barb, they leave to meet Briget. Branch and clay freak out. Briget is cool and hip. Barb is disturbed by pop troll history (she didn't know much, just that John/Branch hated Bergens cause they’d have nightmares)

Finally got another chapter out! I’ve been doing a lot of schoolwork so it was hard to write the next chapter. I’ve been putting on a lot of Jurassic Park/World as background sound so I wanted to do an action-esque scene, so boom: spiders. (Literally rushed the doodle above and you can tell cause I forgot branch’s earrings 😂)

Sequel is OUT!!!
It’s not much right now, but I did what I could with the papers and assignments I have due. The first chapter is meant to serve as an introduction to the plot, so not a lot is going on… kinda?
And yes, Branch can talk to Rhonda in their own language.

Coming tomorrow is the sequel fic for Dance of Secrets! Masquerade of Honesty will likely be published once-twice a week cause I currently am drowning in assignments but hopefully I can pick up more frequent updates once I get some of this stuff out of the way.
Some things about this new fic:
-I wanted to try mystery so that’s what it’s going to be (hopefully I can write it well)
-It will be Poppy/Branch/Barb centric
-a lot more HairZone and Broppy content
-Floyd and Boom????

To give content while I brew on how to begin Masquerade of Honesty, here’s some chapter naming conventions I used in Dance of Secrets
First I did mirroring names for chapter 1 and Chapter 33 ‘cause I’m cringey like that (Branch went from being alone in the tunnel/wilderness to being surrounded by his family/friends. I know I’m so creative lol /j)
The other thing I did was have a section of Wizard of Oz themed chapter names cause Broppy kept picking up characters. Fun fact the first three were unintentional, I noticed the pattern afterward and kept it up for a bit.
Anyway, I’ll post some updates on the new fic tomorrow

FIC UPDATE:
Not everything is fine and dandy when the Council of Unity notice that there is an influx of trolls going missing. With reports of tall shadows lingering about, snatching up any troll they see, the Trolldom must figure out the origin of the kidnappings and put an end to them, and there's three trolls for the job: Branch, Poppy, and Barb. Of course, assistance from the rest of HairZone is always welcomed.
Flight of Honesty, sequel to Dance of Secrets is confirmed :)

Do you think that after dance of secret will see hairzone again in another fanfiction one day
I was actually considering writing a sequel fic for it! Though, I’m having problems thinking of a good enough plot for it.
It would for sure have Barb working for redemption, the brothers learning how to be a family again, and Broppy navigating their new founded relationship. Maybe even having Branch and Bridget meeting and/or Boom having a giant crush on Floyd. AND we can’t forget Clay/Viva’s egg.
But I’m having a rough time coming up with the main plot and the big conflict.
Here’s my doodles from when I was thinking about it:
If I don’t do a direct sequel fic, I may do a one-shot or a collection of one-shots. I DO know that whatever I do next is not going to be updated daily like this one was (most of the time) because I was crazy to do that with my workload 😂
