Ceodore sighed, he knew talking it out would be for the best, but it was such a touchy subject, “I miss him. Father. I wonder what had become of him. I can’t sleep easy because of it.”

Looking down to the hand above her own, Rosa momentarily thought of Cecil and how he would sit beside her and squeeze her hand, smiling reassuringly. He really was like his father in some aspects.
"If you're worried, you may speak to me of them; I mind not."
Nodding and feeling satisfied that he was able to get her to eat, he knelt down to her sitting form and placed his hand over hers.
“Mother. I forgive you. And I understand. I’m worried too.”
