Tbh I really want the final battle to be a struggle to convince the Rat Grinders to join the Bad Kids' side. And more than that I want Kipperlilly to realise that Porter is her tragic backstory, and kill him with her bare hands

I think Adaine and Aelwyn are so compelling but what I find compelling about them is the stuff no one is talking about. I find it really compelling how Aelwyn was the single person Adaine hated most in the world and didn't even blink before sending her to federal prison. I find it compelling that Aelwyn never backed away from the hate, fuelled it even, while being of the honest opinion that her little sister was the best diviner in the entire world. How disguised it was in season one because of Adaine's anxiety disorder and bad socialisation, but she's just as mean and as big of a true bitch as Aelwyn is, but she is still somehow flying under the radar with it. How their character art in season one was almost identical to each other when they clashed the most, but now, per season three, that they've been allowed to grow into their own people they've started to differ drastically in appearances but grown closer in how they behave

Ngl there is something deeply poetic about K2 being created by the elven oracle, wielder of the sword of sight, but molded from the saint of mystery and doubt, saying “god blind me” and getting unmade by the corrupted clouded goddess of twilight and uncertainty. I could not possibly begin to tell you what that deeply poetic thing is, but it’s there.

I’m going to pray that the rat grinders get some kind of redemption (or at least the foreshadowing of it), but just in case it doesn’t happen, I am working on a fic where Kipperlilly changes her subclass to Phantom to communicate with Lucy.

I'm kind of obsessed with all of the Rat Grinders' attempts to ruin the Bad Kids backfiring and making them cooler than ever. Force them to take the Last Stand? They become the first party to ever have a flawless victory. Send dragons to steal the election from them? They turn it into the most rocking party/music video ever (and kill your wizard's grandma in the process). And now you're giving them another chance to save the world when they're already 3 for 3 on cancelling apocalypses? Are you guys for real?

Gorgug on 1 hp and the engine about to fail and then him just smacking it to make it work was such a clutch moment

something really sweet about blimeygate was how hard ally tried to give brennan a way out, as much as they love chaos and jokes and doing it for the bit, they have huge respect for the game and the story and brennan and their fellow players, and they also have a real sensitivity for when everyone is comfortable for them to keep pushing it and when it might be going too far. and as much as brennan was like "I can't believe this" he was also able to communicate implicitly to ally that it's okay, they can keep going and commit to this path, he's still having a good time

so beneath all the nonsense (and believe you me there was a lot of nonsense) there was also this really strong current of mutual trust and respect and that's why blimeygate is so fucking funny and a wonderful moment at the table rather than being a ttrpg horror story (import into your home games with care and caution)
