Basically, the au mostly follows the key events of bh6:ts, except the world is full of curses, which wouldn't have been a problem for a regular American city, but San Fransokyo has a very large Japanese diaspora, and with those people, come the curses as well. And wouldn't you know it, Big hero 6 doubles as a sorcerer team! Except, well, Hiro makes a couple of bad decisions, which results in him becoming a vessel for one particular ancient sorcerer who goes by the name Obake these days. Things... do not go well from here.

But hey, nothing our heroes can't deal with, right?
