God I turned the most silliest of character ideas to the most tragic, sad characters in the world. They weren't meant to be sad but thinking more about them just make me
They're two demons who are buddies and want to be summoned but, not for any malicious reason. They just want to get out of hell to live a better life. And their only reference of the surface world and what it's like is old 1950's Better Homes and Garden Magazine that one of them found and now their view point of a "Better life" is old americana suburban life.
They're just so sweet and have simple dreams like...having a comfy bed or a nice meal.

(A little Polyphemus is seen playing with a stuffed sheep as two humans arpporces him )
human 1 “this is the terrifying cyclops? Ha! His just a little pipesquek”
human2 “hah! Yeah little runt”
(One human shoves him causing him to fall down as the humans laugh)
human 2” wait why do I hear a houses hoofs?”
(A hores runs up to the humans and kicks them off the island and into the sea as Polyphemus gets up)
Polyphemus “papa!”
(He hugs the horses forunt leg as he nuzzles him in a there there motion)

Some of my favorite magic side effects:
-Nosebleeds. Never gets old.
-Coughing up blood. The good ol’ “cough into your hand and pull it back to see blood” also never gets old.
-Headaches. You keep fighting as your head pounds, desperately telling you to take a break. At first they fade within minutes when you stop using magic, but overtime, they become chronic.
-Fatigue. After a big battle, you stand triumphant, and then just fall asleep on the spot.
-In a similar vein, overuse causing you to straight up faint rather than just fall asleep. Darkness begins to overtake your vision in the middle of battle, unconsciousness abruptly looming over you.
-Any of the side effects happening to another person. Maybe two close characters are connected, and whatever side effects character A would normally endure are transferred to character B. When A uses a blast of magic B screams loudly because holy shit that hurt.
-Magic gradually deteriorating your mind. Using it too much eventually caused hallucinations and an inability to retain memories, or even larger scale memory loss.

I saw I had chopped down my 400 character list on Toyhouse down to 250 so that means it's time to make some new OCs AND I've always wanted a duo where one was teeny and the other was big. I also just adore soft x hard designs so--
ANYWAYS-Big guy winds up finding pixie girl one day after buying a dollhouse from a thrift shop to renovate since he does mini crafts as a hobby. Said dollhouse is where little girly was temporarily living so of course she latches on to him because "Hello this is my home what are you doing???"
It's a funny little dynamic of him making little furniture and things and placing them in different rooms and her rearranging said furniture because she can be a bit bossy but HEY she technically found the house first.
