“Aah, that’s too bad!” Makoto put his hand down, disappointed that he was the only one who had seen the precious feline. However, it suddenly dawned on Makoto how bold (and perhaps a little too enthusiastic) he had just been; and with a complete stranger, no less! But in the end, all he managed to do was upset the other person, so Makoto tried his best to right the situation.

“Don’t sweat it, though! Maybe we’ll see it around here again soon, hm?” As he tried to put a somewhat positive spin on this, Makoto beamed at the other. “I’m really sorry about suddenly stopping you like that, though! I guess I got too caught up in the moment, haha... I kind of have a weakness for cats...”

“Woah, hold up!” Makoto immediately stopped in his tracks, and held out his arm in an attempt to stop the person walking alongside him. 

                                    “Did you see that?!” 

Wide green eyes were darting around the area before them, searching intently for something that was there just moments ago. At least, he swore it was… “Did you see that super cute cat?! I’ve never seen a cat with fur like that; please tell me you didn’t miss that!”

"Ah--!” 

Though Makoto knew all too well how rough these high school hallways could be, his eyes still widened in surprise when someone bumped into him. With his muscular build, the brunet wasn’t constantly pushed around, or ever even really bumped into, but nonetheless he found himself trying to help those who were. So when the girl who had bumped into him began apologizing profusely, Makoto smiled warmly, and waved his hand dismissively. “It’s okay, don’t worry! I believe you.” However, his warm smile was soon swapped with furrowed brows and a concerned expression as he began his next lines, “I hope you’re okay, though... You bumped into me pretty roughly...

--Ah, wait, the captain of the swim team? That’d be me, actually.” Makoto laughed briefly at the coincidence, and he wondered what she could possibly want with the swim team. He hadn’t seen this girl around the school-- at least he didn’t think so-- but he wondered if she was considering joining. “How can I help you?”

​              {~ 📖~}“Alright Chiyo,  you can do this.. go in and ask, how hard could it be?” with a sigh the heroine held her sketch book close to her chest though it was then Chiyo walked though the door “Excuse me please, I’m looking for the captain of the Iwabi swim team please?”

“Ehh?” No one seemed to respond and the female gave a sigh “Please if will on take a little of your time, I just looking for the captain of the swim team here it would really help if you could, I mean.” It was then that when she was suddenly not noticed that a group of a students were in a hurry and ended up pushing Chiyo to the side.

“Itai..!” she gave a squeak as her head hit against someone else “Ehh..“I-I’m so sorry it was a accident, umm I’m really sorry I was pushed out of the way, I never meant to bump into you I promise ill get out of your way, but umm perhaps you could help me first, I’m looking for the swim tram captain of Iwabi swim team?”

“Mm.” For the moment, that weak, gruff sound was all that Makoto could manage to produce. It was an attempt to inform Nagisa that he was, in fact, awake and acknowledged the blond’s question; Makoto just needed some time to gather the energy to speak. 

Because of his drowsy state, the question took a few seconds to process, but once it did, a small blush creeped up on Makoto’s features. The truth was that Makoto decided to quietly slip into Nagisa’s bed because he was rather accustomed to sharing Haru’s bed whenever he spent the night, so using a futon was rather... uncomfortable. But there was no way Makoto could admit that. “Yeah,” he said eventually, glad that Nagisa concluded his act was because of the cold. However, Makoto didn’t think the response was very convincing. Now, heavy eyelids slowly opened, revealing Makoto’s bright green eyes. 

“I can go back if you want.”

Muse A and Muse B are both social media bloggers; Muse B’s blog is more popular than Muse A’s currently, having amassed a following of 8,000+ loyal fans. Every once in a while followers Muse A and Muse B have in common will link Muse B to a video/blog post made by Muse A and Muse B’ll leave a nice comment or encourage their own subscribers/followers to check the post out, resulting in Muse A’s views and follower number blowing up. Muse A is pleasantly surprised one day to discover that their following has nearly doubled overnight, probably because of Muse B’s simple support. Figuring that it’s about time to say ‘thanks’, Muse A sends a private message to Muse B, introducing themselves officially and expressing their gratitude. Within a few hours, Muse B sends back a response. From then on, Muse A and Muse B start inboxing one another on a regular basis.  

Swimming the relay together connected us. “So even if we end up walking different paths,we’ll always be connected to each other. There won’t be an end for us.”

“You’re... not?” That was a relief, at least. That didn’t exactly mean Seijuro felt the same, but at least he wasn’t repulsed and rejected! Once his reddening face was pointed out, though, Makoto was back to being a blubbering mess. The brunet’s hands immediately smashed themselves against his cheeks, and though that was rather painful, he was dedicated to covering up his face. “I-I’m fine, see?! Nothing to worry about! T-Thank you for your concern, Captain Mikoshiba!”
