arnook asking sokka to protect yue during the siege of the north instead of letting him lead the mission to infiltrate zhao’s ship literally cost him yue.... hahn’s never seen actual combat, and knows nothing about zhao, as opposed to sokka, who has spent the last season learning firsthand how to fight the fire nation; if arnook had let sokka lead that mission instead of hahn, zhao would’ve died before he even reached the northern water tribe and the moon spirit never would’ve been killed in the first place. im just sayin...

ngl it makes me so sad to think of the whole gaang spending the rest of their childhood and adulthood as ambassadors, rulers, and council members, having to keep peace in stuffy meeting rooms instead of getting to be kids and then following their own individual interests and passions. like i just want to see jewelry business or baker aang, scammer toph, chief or community leader sokka who also dabbles in sketch comedy, poet zuko, chief katara who can also be commissioned to go beat up your asshole ex, no questions asked
