Pokemon Next Gen (Ranch Helpers): Chip Koshimizu

Chip is the son of Nina and her husband. When Mishal had announced he was working at a ranch that helps Pokemon recover, he was happy that he found something to do but was surprised when he said that he recommended his services, as well as Charlotte’s, to the ranch. Chip wondered how he could help, then Mishal simply said that he and Charlotte could provide food for the Pokemon and the other ranch helpers since Chetari couldn’t do all of that by herself. Agreeing with his logic, Charlotte and Chip offered their help to Chetari and she agreed to have them help as the cooking staff. Chip is rather easy going and calm compared to his sister, he also cooks alongside his sister but he isn’t very good at baking so he mostly just sticks with cooking. He’s also kind and acts as a gentleman to others, however, he won’t tolerate anyone who’s rude to him or his sister or foster brother and will quickly deal with them with no mercy before going back to his calm and collected self as if nothing happened. Chip will also help with cleaning up around the ranch.

His Pokemon:

Togedemaru- Chip had received Togedemaru as his starter Pokemon when he was little. Togedemaru is energetic and will always roll around when she’s happy. Togedemaru also helps out with gathering berries for Charlotte to use for her baking, she always goes with Emolga as he acts as her protector and supplies her with electricity to use. Togedemaru loves to play with other Pokemon, often acting as the ball in case they don’t have one to play with. Togedemaru also helps out with simple things such as cleaning due to her ability to roll around which helps cleaning floors really fast, Togedemaru mostly provides support while also receiving support. As she can’t produce as much electricity as any other Electric-type Pokemon, she has to rely on others to give her electricity while she powers up their Electric-type moves with Electric Terrain or by giving an increase in power by using Helping Hand. Togedemaru also helps out by giving back up electricity to the ranch along with other Electric-type Pokemon should the power go out.

Pokemon Next Gen (Ranch Helpers): Charlotte Koshimizu

Charlotte is the daughter of Nina and her husband. When Mishal had announced he was working at a ranch that helps Pokemon recover, she was happy that he found something to do but was surprised when he said that he recommended her services, as well as Chip’s, to the ranch. Charlotte wondered how she could help, then Mishal simply said that she and Chip could provide food for the Pokemon and the other ranch helpers since Chetari couldn’t do all of that by herself. Agreeing with his logic, Charlotte and Chip offered their help to Chetari and she agreed to have them help as the cooking staff. Charlotte is upbeat and happy to cook and bake for others so long as they ask as she enjoys making others happy, she gets along with her brother and foster brother and enjoys being with them, even if Mishal acts emotionless and blank, she still loves Mishal as a foster brother and doesn’t treat him any differently. Charlotte also works very hard to help out anyone, be it her parents and their pancake shop or Chetari’s ranch, Charlotte will give everything her all and will make sure she’ll help anyone with whatever they need.

Her Pokemon:

Emolga- Charlotte had received Emolga as her starter Pokemon when she was little. Emolga is a helpful Pokemon, he’ll help gather berries for Charlotte’s baking alongside Chip’s Togedemaru. Emolga looks out for Togedemaru by battling against any bird Pokemon that try and attack her while she’s gathering food. Emolga is very selfless and generous, he’ll always give any left over berries to Pokemon who are hungry or he’ll fly up and get berries for Pokemon who can’t climb trees, either way he’ll go out of his way to help other Pokemon. Emolga also helps gather the ingredients that Charlotte needs and he’ll help Chetari with any Electric-type Pokemon that need training. Emolga enjoys eating, especially anything sweet, as such he acts as a bit of a taste tester for Charlotte and anything she’s been baking and because he can tolerate any kind of flavor of berries, he’s the perfect taste tester.

Pokemon Next Gen (Ranch Helpers): Mishal Homura

Mishal is the son of Courtney and Tabitha. Mishal had been born after a night where Tabitha and Courtney had been drinking too much and ended up having a one night stand, Courtney had then been confirmed to be pregnant with Mishal. After he was born, he was put in a few foster homes before he stayed with Nina, her husband, and their children Charlotte and Chip on Melemele Island in the Alola region. While the three of them were looking for ingredients, Mishal had wandered off and stumbled upon Chetari’s ranch and Mishal quickly asked if he could help because he figured his Pokemon should be a good fit for the ranch’s security, he also recommended his foster siblings because both of them can provide food for the Pokemon and for everyone else, Chetari accepted the offer. Mishal is rather blank and almost emotionless, much like his birth mother Courtney, he also talks a bit like a robot which freaks others out when they see him. Mishal is highly intelligent and works with Ficus when it comes to creating electronic devices for the ranch as well as more defenses, he also has Courtney’s habit of becoming interested in something and will not deter from it. He does have a bit of a sadistic side, but that only comes out when he’s facing anyone who tries to harm the ranch. He’s also slightly jealous that the other kids were either raised by their parents or got to meet their parents as he was taken from his parents when he was just a baby, he would like to see his mother and father again one day.

His Pokemon:

Ninetales- Ninetales is Mishal’s starter Pokemon and the only reminder of his mother as she used to belong to Courtney. Ninetales is very motherly towards Mishal and fiercely protects him as the order to protect Mishal was the last order Courtney had given to Ninetales before she was taken from her trainer and given to Mishal officially. Ninetales listens to everything Mishal says and is comfortable around him as he reminds her of Courtney. Ninetales often uses her ability to place curses on others and she will often work with Chetari’s Zoroark Loki to create illusions on the ranch. She does have motherly love for young Pokemon but a lot of her love goes to Mishal, to the point she created an illusion of a woman so she can talk to Mishal through it. Ninetales is also the only thing that can make Mishal smile.

Moves are Fire Spin, Hyper Beam, Flamethrower, Psychic, Inferno, Swift, Mystical Fire, Iron Tail, Fire Blast, and Calm Mind.

Noctowl- Mishal caught Noctowl while he was in the Johto region with another foster family. Mishal was impressed with that Noctowl’s intelligence and caught him. Noctowl is mostly seen roosting on a tree while on the ranch, but he’s a very smart Pokemon as he had learned how to use human-made items such as potions to heal other Pokemon. He also helps identify which plants are for healing Pokemon and any ailments they’ll have. Noctowl works with Willow’s Venomoth as the night security as both of them are nocturnal and they can spot things at night easily.

Moves are Foresight, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Uproar, Steel Wing, Air Slash, Hyper Voice, Psychic, Heat Wave, and Sky Attack.

Honchkrow- Honchkrow was caught as a Murkrow when he was in the Sinnoh region, Mishal had noticed that Murkrow had the skills to be a leader and offered him a chance to evolve so he can get his own flock of Murkrows, Murkrow had agreed. When Mishal had lived with his family in Alola, Murkrow was ready to evolve and was given a Dusk Stone so he could evolve. Honchkrow is tough and is Mishal’s strongest Pokemon, making him a big target for anyone trying to attack the ranch however Honchkrow doesn’t deter easily and will fight back or he’ll just send his cronies of Murkrow and other Bird Pokemon to attack. Despite how big and bad he is, Honchkrow is actually fair to his flock and doesn’t just take in Murkrow, he’ll also take in Bird Pokemon that have been left behind or mistreated by their flock or their previous trainers. Honchkrow is a good boss, unlike other Honchkrow who will punish their cronies for failure or feel like they betrayed him, he’ll give them a second chance and he’ll attack if he sees that his flock are losing and need help rather than to finish off an opponent.

Shiny Gourgeist- Mishal had recieved his shiny Super size Gourgeist when she was a Pumpkaboo, he had traded his Poliwhirl for the trainers Pumpkaboo and that triggered her to evolve into Gourgiest. Gourgiest is a michievious Pokemon, she enjoys playing pranks on others but she keeps her pranks harmless for the kids and Pokemon on the ranch and would give bigger pranks to anyone who tries to attack the ranch, she’ll also take them to the afterlife if she really feels like doing it. Gourgeist enjoys singing when she isn’t needed and she’s actually a very good singer and she control if she wants to curse someone or not with her singing.

Pokemon Next Gen (Ranch Helpers): Arche Akagi

Arche is the son of Cyrus and Jupiter. Sometime before Cyrus would put his plan into action, he called Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter to his office and wanted Mars and Jupiter to carry his children so that in case his plan fails his offspring would carry out his plan. What they didn’t count on was the fact that all three kids didn’t seem to be interested in carrying out Cyrus’ vision of a perfect world and would rather spend their time as normal kids. It wasn’t until the three of them met Chetari and Hestia and they also became part of Chetari’s ranch. Arche is the middle child of the Galactic siblings, so he often feels like he has to stand out from Janus who’s the leader, and Helia who’s the infiltrator. Arche is often the one who looks up information about their enemies and will let Janus know if he finds any weaknesses, Arche also helps train with the recovering Pokemon to help them get ready to be released into the wild. Much like his mother, Arche is quick to act in any situation which is helpful for when there are attacks on the ranch, it’s a trait that everyone is thankful for. Arche also knows hand to hand combat and is the one who taught his half-siblings as well as Chusi because she wished to get stronger. 

His Pokemon:

Stunky- Stunky is the daughter of Jupiter’s Skuntank. Like her father, Stunky is very loyal to Arche, and just like her trainer, she’s quick to act in a situation such as if a baby Pokemon is falling, she’ll quickly catch them before they hit the ground. Stunky is also very close to other Pokemon on the ranch, especially the Pokemon who hatch from eggs and he often acts as the babysitter for them, she also is the main protector of the baby Pokemon thanks to her natural ability to spray a foul-smelling fluid at the attacker to make them run away or faint. Stunky is also laid back, often sleeping when she isn’t needed or when the Pokemon in the nursery are having their nap but if she hears the slightest bit of danger or if Arche calls for her, she will wake up immediately and rush to her trainer’s side. She has a sibling-like bond with Janus’ Croagunk and Helia’s Glameow, the three of them always hang out together and they work perfectly together if they happen to be battling against someone. She wears a white bandanna around her neck and is often seen outside of her Pokeball.

Moves are Poison Gas, Night Slash, Explosion, Sucker Punch, Shadow Claw, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Foul Play, Crunch, and Venoshock.

Amoonguss- Arche caught Amoonguss while he was on a walk to Stunky, he thought that an Amoonguss would be perfect for the ranch’s defense so he quickly caught him. Amoonguss is rather easy-going, preferring to just lay back and relax instead of actually doing anything that requires him to move. However, when there is a time to attack he’ll often use his spores to either stun, poison or put his enemies to sleep, depending on what he wants to do or what Arche tells him to do. Amoonguss is basically the distraction and will hinder his opponents in any way possible, he also is great at working with his allies to help them by healing them.

Moves are Stun Spore, Spore, Poison Powder, Solar Beam, Synthesis, Giga Drain, Nature Power, Pollen Puff, Sludge Bomb, and Grassy Terrain.

Weavile- Arche caught Weavile after having a tough battle against him and his pack of Sneasel. After Weavile was caught, the pack scattered and Weavile was very upset that he had lost his pack. However, he took the leadership role after getting a good look at the ranch and seeing the potential with all of the Pokemon in the ranch. Weavile is a natural-born leader, he also knows all kinds of tactics that he’ll go over with the other Pokemon on the ranch when they’re under attack by someone. Weavile also looks out for everyone on the ranch, acting as a leader and an older brother figure to others, he shows a bit of tough love to the others but he will also be comforting to them, giving them encouragement when they need it. He sees the Pokemon on the ranch as his new pack and is quick to protect and help them out. Aside from protecting them, Weavile will also use his attacks to make it so that no one can get to the ranch, mostly by making the ground slippery.

Pokemon Next Gen (Ranch Helpers): Helia Akagi

Helia is the daughter of Cyrus and Mars. Sometime before Cyrus would put his plan into action, he called Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter to his office and wanted Mars and Jupiter to carry his children so that in case his plan fails his offspring would carry out his plan. What they didn’t count on was the fact that all three kids didn’t seem to be interested in carrying out Cyrus’ vision of a perfect world and would rather spend their time as normal kids. It wasn’t until the three of them met Chetari and Hestia and they also became part of Chetari’s ranch. Helia is the youngest of the Galactic siblings, but she’s the most composed of the three of them and she’s very proud of herself and her integrity, much like her mother. Like her father, she’s very good at manipulating others to doing what she wants or believing anything she says, she only uses her manipulation skills to lead others away from the ranch if she sees that they’re trying to bring harm to the ranch. Like Janus, Helia also knows a lot about tactical battles but she’s more stealthy and often shows others how to be just as stealthy during a fight and will weaken the front line until one person is left standing. Along with Janus, she’s known as the commander of the ranch protection squad. Unlike her mother and Arche’s mother, she gets along with her half-brother and she wonders why their mothers have such a strong dislike for one another.

Her Pokemon:

Glameow- Glameow is the daughter of Mars’ Purugly. Unlike her mother, Glameow isn’t as cranky or violent, instead, she’s sweet and loves to be pampered by Helia but she’s still ready to fight against someone if Helia tells her to battle. Glameow mostly relies on her charm and looks to get other Pokemon to lower their guard so she can attack them. Glameow is loyal and she’s affectionate towards everyone around her, though a lot of her affection goes to her trainer as she always rubs herself against Helia’s legs. Glameow can be very picky when it comes to trying something new and she isn’t very keen on being with someone that challenged her. Despite that, she’s very graceful while she’s battling which serves as a good distraction and makes it easy for her to attack her opponents. Glameow has a sibling-like bond with Janus’ Croagunk and Arche’s Stunky, the three of them always hang out together and they work perfectly together if they happen to be battling against someone. Glameow wears a pink scarf around her neck and is often seen outside of her Pokeball.

Moves are Return, Play Rough, Assist, Attract, Charm, Feint Attack, Captivate, Hone Claws, Fake Tears, and Swift.

Crobat- Helia caught her Croabat when he was a Zubat. Finding Zubat to be rather cute she started training him right away and when he evolved into a Golbat he would continue to train while also getting close to his trainer, which caused him to evolve into a Crobat. As a Zubat, Crobat was pretty mild but he was also a bit of a night owl, preferring to be in the dark than be in the sun. Over time he had gotten used to being in the sun. When he was Golbat, he had fully gotten used to being in the sun and was comfortable being around others but he would mostly prefer to be by himself instead of spending time with other Pokemon. Now as a Crobat, he finds himself enjoying spending time with his trainer and he’s okay with helping her and her half-siblings and it’s thanks to his ability to fly silently without being noticed that he can attack his opponents and drain their blood before they even notice that he attacked them. He listens to the commands of Helia as well as her half-siblings without issue.

Moves are Cross Poison, Air Slash, Confuse Ray, Aerial Ace, Quick Attack, Steel Wing, Leech Life, Poison Fang, Swift, and Double Team.

Persian- Helia found her Persian while she was on a walk, she saw that Persian seemed to be weak so she took him in and started caring for him. Persian stuck around even after he was better so Helia caught him. Despite Persian’s loyalty to Helia, he’s still fickle and temperamental towards any other human, being distrustful of them and not being afraid to scratch them if they get to close to him. Persian often acts as the peacemaker on the ranch, should he find any Pokemon fighting, he’ll break up the fight and keep others from hurting each other. Persian also has a crush on Chetari’s shiny Delcatty Sunset and will flirt with her any chance he gets, much to the shiny Delcatty’s embarrassment.

Pokemon Next Gen (Ranch Helpers): Janus Akagi

Janus is the son of Saturn and Mars. Sometime before Cyrus would put his plan into action, he called Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter to his office and wanted Mars and Jupiter to carry his children so that in case his plan fails his offspring would carry out his plan. Saturn was called to give Mars a second child that will become the admin of the rebirth of Team Galactic. What they didn’t count on was the fact that all three kids didn’t seem to be interested in carrying out Cyrus’ vision of a perfect world and would rather spend their time as normal kids. It wasn’t until the three of them met Chetari and Hestia and they also became part of Chetari’s ranch. Janus is the oldest of the Galactic siblings and often acts as the leader of the three of them, Janus cares about his half-brother and his half-sister and always looks out for them should they need help or if they’re in trouble. Janus inherited Saturn’s determination to succeed, he also has a lot of knowledge about tactical battles and always comes up with a battle plan should anyone try attacking the ranch. He plays to everyone’s strengths and even shows everyone their hidden strengths that they didn’t even know they had in the first place, he also knows when it’s time to retreat or when they’re losing a battle, so he’ll often have a last-ditch move that he goes over with everyone in case that time comes. It’s for that reason he’s often the main protector of the ranch and is often called the commander alongside his half-siblings as they all have similar ideas and follow orders in a similar way.

His Pokemon:

Croagunk- Croagunk is the daughter of Saturn’s Toxicroak. Unlike her father, Janus’ Croagunk is actually very kind and is known to be rather helpful when her trainer needs her, despite the difference in personality, Croagunk dearly loves her father and in turn, Toxicroak dearly loves his daughter to the point he’ll attack anyone who happens to hurt her. Croagunk is also calm and acts as a security guard due to her great hearing and she’s able to take down anyone from behind thanks to how she’s almost unnoticeable to others. Croagunk adores her trainer and is always clinging to his shirt or to his leg out of affection. Croagunk has a sibling-like bond with Helia’s Glameow and Arche’s Stunky, the three of them always hang out together and they work perfectly together if they happen to be battling against someone. Croagunk wears a purple ribbon on her head and she’s often seen outside of her Pokeball.

Moves are Poison Jab, Toxic, Sucker Punch, Ice Punch, Drain Punch, Sludge Wave, Dynamic Punch, Cross Chop, Coaching, and Gunk Shot.

Male Meowstic- Janus had caught his Meowstic after seeing him protect a group of Pokemon, seeing how much power he had, he offered Meowstic a chance to join his team and have him protect more Pokemon. Meowstic was happy to agree. Meowstic is a Pokemon that has a lot of justice, he’ll protect and help any Pokemon that can’t protect themselves because they’re sick, too young, or injured. For that reason, he’s in charge of protecting the newborn and young Pokemon in the nursery part of the ranch. He takes his role seriously and is always more than happy to protect the younger Pokemon, while he hates using his full power in battle he has strict rules to only use his full power if there’s no other option and if Janus tells him to. Meowstic is loyal to Janus and will follow his orders.

Moves are Mean Look, Helping Hand, Heal Bell, Psychic Terrain, Psychic, Expanding Force, Light Screen, Reflect, Disarming Voice, and Psyshock.

Excadrill- Janus caught Excadrill after helping him recover from being attacked by Pokemon Hunters. Excadrill loves to dig tunnels and Janus had Excadrill dig pitfall traps for anyone who would try and sneak around the ranch and he would attack and catch anyone who gets in his traps. Excadrill also enjoys helping others who happen to need someone to dig tunnels for them, he also picked up on Janus’ determined nature and for that reason, he will battle until he can’t fight anymore. He also fully trusts Janus and understands his battle plans, often acting as Janus’ second in command. He also helps out by digging escape tunnels for the ranch in case they need to retreat.

Moves are Horn Drill, Metal Claw, Sandstorm, Drill Run, Swords Dance, Dig, Smart Strike, Iron Head, Magnet Rise, and Skull Bash.

Pokemon Next Gen (Ranch Helpers): Hestia Pachira

Hestia is the daughter of Lysandre and Malva. Shortly before the Team Flare takeover, Lysandre had Malva carry his child in case his plan would fail so that his child would rebuild Team Flare and complete his goals. His plan had backfired as Malva had raised their daughter properly and she didn’t have a reason to restart Team Flare, especially since she didn’t know what Team Flare was. While on a trip to Alola with her mom, she had found Chetari’s ranch, and seeing as she needed help, Hestia offered Chetari a hand with the ranch. At first, Chetari didn’t want the help, but after a lot of persistence from Hestia, Chetari let her help out and after helping Chetari long enough, Hestia was officially part of Chetari’s ranch helpers. Hestia is a kind and gentle girl, she’s also very fashionable and follows all kind of fashion trends, which makes her get along with Ashley since both of them have similar tastes in clothes. Hestia is also very protective of her friends and Chetari’s ranch, she gets very angry anytime she sees a Pokemon be mistreated by their trainer or if she sees a Shadow Pokemon and will often go on a rant about how she felt about what that trainer did to their Pokemon. While Hestia does like all Pokemon, she has a soft spot for Fire-type Pokemon and is always happy to care for any Fire-type Pokemon that happens to come on the ranch. Hestia assists with caring for Pokemon as well as training with Shadow Pokemon to help them reopen the doors to their hearts. 

She possesses her father’s Key Ring which helps her Mega Evolve her Houndoom.

Her Pokemon: 

Pyroar- Hestia had received her Pyroar as an egg which later hatched into a Litleo. As a Litleo, Pyroar was curious and a little lazy but after a while of coasting from Hestia, he started to train with her until he had evolved into a Pyroar. While he’s still a bit lazy, he will attack anyone to protect his trainer and the Pokemon on Chetari’s ranch. Pyroar is a natural-born leader and will lead the other Pokemon to attack should they be under attack by any kind of force of evil, he sees the other Pokemon as his pride which is why he’s quick to protect them and care for them until it’s time for them to be given to new trainers or to be released back into the wild. Pyroar also acts as the leader of Hestia’s team and will help Litwick with his training and he’ll help Delphox with her training.

Ability is Moxie.

Moves are Hyper Beam, Noble Roar, Hyper Voice, Flamethrower, Return, Flare Blitz, Work Up, Solar Beam, Heat Wave, and Retaliate.

Delphox- Delphox was given to Hestia by Professor Sycamore when she was a Fennekin. As a Fennekin, Delphox weak compared to Pyroar and Houndoom, so she trained her hardest and eventually evolved into a Braixen after all of her hard work.  Then after more training with Pyroar and Hestia, she had evolved into a Delphox. Delphox is very mild-mannered and she’s shown to be a rather elegant battler, she’ll often use support moves to help her teammates out but she’s still capable of bringing down others with her own battling. Delphox often copies what she’s seen from Pokemon contests and Showcases to use as she fights against others, she also attempts to show this battle style to other Pokemon in the ranch in case a trainer who wants to compete in contests or Showcases shows up and wants a Pokemon from the ranch. Delphox is loyal to Hestia and is happy that she was picked by Hestia, she’s always happy to give Hestia a hug when she can.

Houndoom- Hestia had caught her Houndoom as a Houndour. As a Houndour, Houndoom was a trouble maker as he felt that Hestia wasn’t ready to train him. Even when he evolved, he still had little faith that Hestia could train him and would often ignore what she says in battle or when they’re training. It wasn’t until they went to search for Houndoominite that they actually started to get along and work together. While battling the guardian of the Houndoominite, they had finally worked as a team and had become close, they had received the Houndoominite and had it fitted into a collar for Houndoom to wear. When they first tried Mega Evolution, Houndoom had gone out of control and would completely ignore Hestia’s orders in the middle of a battle. Hestia and Houndoom then had gone through more training, mostly bonding exercises, in an attempt to get them to become closer together. After a few months of training, they had perfected Mega Evolution and ended up becoming closer than ever. Now, Houndoom is loyal to Hestia he also follows the orders of Hestia’s Pyroar and he’ll act as a guardian to Hestia’s shiny Litwick.

Shiny Litwick- Hestia had caught her shiny Litwick after defending him from his former trainer who had released him due to him not evolving yet. Litwick is a very quiet and shy Pokemon, he also gets upset when someone assumes that he's draining the life force of those around him or that he pretends to be friendly to guide someone to the spirit world and that the assumptions often make him cry as he just wants to help others by showing them where they need to go if it’s dark. Litwick does his best to help those in need despite the fact he’s gets seen in a negative light due to being a Ghost-type. Litwick can make his flame bigger and brighter at will, which he uses to let others know where he is should anyone be separated from the ranch or the group, especially when it’s really dark.

Pokemon Next Gen (Apprentices): Willow Bromley

Willow is the younger daughter of Guzma and Plumeria. Unlike her older brother who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, Willow was completely normal and didn’t have any kind of mental disability. When Willow was exploring with her Pokemon, she spotted Chetari working on her ranch and quickly asked her to join on the ranch, Chetari had no problems with that and allowed Willow to join the ranch. After a while, Chetari had noticed that Willow was copying what she was doing, or at least trying to. When she asked why Willow was trying to copy her, Willow simply said that she wanted to follow in Chetari’s footsteps with running the ranch, once again Chetari agreed simply because she thought she should need some more help with just simple things and she was happy to show Willow what she does. Willow takes more after Plumeria in terms of looks and personality as oppose to her brother who takes after Guzma, Willow is pretty laid back but she is determined and quick to protect anyone, be it Pokemon or other kids. Despite the fact she’s younger than Alika, she takes care of him as if she was his older sister, Alika doesn’t mind as he likes having someone take care of him like how he takes care of his own little group of puesdo-siblings. Willow does try to be like a big sis to the others on the ranch, but they find her attempts cute and call her little sis instead of big sis, which she finds irritating. Willow also does her best to help Chetari, even persuading her to rest when she needs to. She’s the only other person who can outstubborn Chetari, the first being Ashley.

Her Pokemon:

Shiny Salazzle- Salazzle is Willow’s starter Pokemon and is the daughter of Plumeria’s Salazzle. As a Salandit, she would do her best to work on her skills in gathering males to her for when she came close to evolving and when she finally evolved she managed to attract more than just male Salandit to her side. The pheromones that Salazzle produces is strong enough to attract male Pokemon from the Monster and Dragon egg group to come to her aid when she needs them and she’s able to get them to do whatever she wants. Like Mishal’s Honchkrow, Salazzle will command her harem of Pokemon to fight back against anyone who tries to attack the ranch and she’ll let them gather food and supplies for the ranch. While she can be haughty and a little prideful, she’s still kind and will give her harem something as a treat if they do a good job on following her orders. She also deeply cares about Willow and will always stop what she’s doing to help Willow with something.

Venomoth- Venomoth was caught by Willow when she found him as a Venonat, after a while of training him he had evolved into Venomoth. Venomoth enjoys flying around at night, as such he works as the night security with Mishal’s Noctowl. If he happens to see anyone getting close to the ranch, he’ll scatter his scales over them to paralyze them so they can’t move and then he’ll get Noctowl to put the intruders under an illusion or to just lift them away to get rid of the intruders without bothering anyone on the ranch. If there are more intruders than he thinks he and the others can handle, he’ll call for backup which will get the others to help him take care of the intruders. Venomoth is a resilient Pokemon who will always try not to back away from a fight, he mostly uses his powder moves to give him an advantage in battle. He’s fast and very crafty when it comes to battling, often using unique techniques to get through battles easier.

Vivillon- Willow had caught her Vivillon when she was a Scatterbug, she evolved in no time and was able to quickly catch up to her team members. Vivillon mostly uses her scales to keep peace between feeding Pokemon in the ranch, she also scatters her scales to calm down any intruders into surrendering or just by keeping them calm in general. Vivillon is kind and gentle to everyone, she doesn’t enjoy fighting and would rather just calm others down instead of fight herself but if there’s no option to fight she will fight alongside her team. Vivillon loves being with Willow and the baby Pokemon at the ranch, often playing with them and keeping them company. Vivillon has Monsoon pattern wings.

Pokemon Next Gen (Ranch Helpers): Chusi Ibuki

Chusi is the daughter of Clair and Zinna, much like both of her moms, Chusi loves Dragon-type Pokemon and has been training them since she was little under the watchful eye of both of her moms. Like Clair, she’s compassionate about Dragon-types and can understand their feelings, as well as calm them down if they’re angry. Chusi is very knows a lot about Dragon-type Pokemon and will always care for them when they’re feeling down. Chusi had found Chetari’s ranch after seeing her and some other kids care for the Pokemon on, she knew that she could help so she offered to help out on the ranch without hesitation. Chusi works on caring for any Dragon-type Pokemon on the ranch and making sure they’re comfortable as Dragon-types can be very hard to train and bond with, as she has the most experience with dealing with them she’s solely in charge of handling, training them and finding good trainers for them.

Her Pokemon:

Shiny Dragonair- Chusi was given her Dragonair when she was a Dratini, Chusi was excited to get a shiny Dratini as her starter and promised to take great care of her. The two started training together when they were still young so they ended up becoming very close to each other. When Chusi was fourteen, Dratini had evolved into Dragonair much to both of their delight, Chusi wanted to get Dragonair to evolve into Dragonite but she kept preventing her evolution. When she had asked why, Dragonair said she wanted to be strong as a Dragonair, not as a Dragonite, Chusi accepted her partner’s choice and gave her an Everstone to help her stay as a Dragonair. Dragonair is a kind Pokemon, but she’s also very stong and will always act quick to break up fights between other Pokemon or by caring for any young Pokemon who had lost their parents. Dragonair often has to hold back in battle or she could end up seriously injuring someone or she could destroy the ranch so she’s often the very last line of defense.

Goodra- Goodra was caught by Chusi when he was a Sliggoo, she had helped him training especially in the rain to get him to evolve. After a good long while of training with Dragonair, Sliggoo had evolved into Goodra. Goodra is very friendly and caring, he also has a lot of sympathy for the other Dragon-types on the ranch, as such he will act as their older brother figure and will be the one who trains them to evolve. He also protects the ones who can’t protect themselves, not being afraid to keep them safe against any other Pokemon who tries to get them. Goodra likes to give others hugs and he always apologizes due to how he gets them covered in slime, the others on the ranch like Goodra and find him adorable, especially when he looks dazed or bewildered.

Latias- Chusi had found Latias and her brother Latios while she was exploring the Hoenn region with her mothers, she had managed to save them from a Pokemon hunter, grateful for her help, they had stayed with her until she had finally captured them. Latias is younger than Latios and is playful and cheerful, but she’s also shy and would mostly turn invisible if she was approached by someone other than Chusi or someone Chusi trusts. She can alter her appearance to make her look like a human, which she does to pass as Chusi’s sister. She doesn’t like to fight and will mostly act as a support for anyone else but she will still fight against someone when her brother falls or when she needs to protect herself. Latias mostly helps out in her human disguise while also keeping other Pokemon calm and happy, she’ll also help gather other Pokemon that have been lost in chaos.

Latios- Chusi had found Latios and his sister Latias while she was exploring the Hoenn region with her mothers, she had managed to save them from a Pokemon hunter, grateful for her help, they had stayed with her until she had finally captured them. Latios is the older than Latias and his mature, calm and collected in any situation. Latios is the main protector of the ranch, as such he also turns invisible and scouts for any threats before fighting them while they can’t see him. He chose Chushi to be his and Latias’ trainer because she had compassion in her heart unlike any other human he has seen before. Like Latias, he changes his appearance to look human and pass as Chusi’s brother. Latios mostly fights in the back so he doesn’t have to reveal himself, as he fears being caught and turned into a Shadow Pokemon like he’s seen with other Pokemon.

Pokemon Next Gen (Apprentices): Jamie Manon

Jamie is the son of Alain and Mairin and he’s Nick’s apprentice. Jamie had met Nick after Nick saved him from a Shadow Pokemon who was in hyper mode. Since then, Jamie had greatly admired Nick and started following him where ever he went, asking and begging Nick to teach him how to do what he does. Nick was hesitant and didn’t want Jamie to get hurt because of the Shadow Pokemon and how violent they can be but after a lot of begging, he finally gave in and let Jamie be his apprentice mostly so he could stop him from begging him. Like his mother, Jamie is very clumsy and will trip and fall whenever he walks, lucky for him he has his Pokemon and Nick to catch him whenever he’s about to hit the ground. He’s also a little forceful as he will proudly declare that he’s Nick’s apprentice and that he’ll learn about Shadow Pokemon, Nick finds it a little irritating but he puts it aside mostly to keep Jamie safe. Jamie doesn’t take any traits from his father but he does have a serious, almost cold side that comes out when he’s under a lot of pressure or if he’s really scared. Jamie doesn’t know why that side comes out of where that even came from and he hates it when it comes out because he feels like that isn’t who he is and because after that side of him goes away he doesn’t know what he did due to him feeling like he blacked out.

His Pokemon:

Chikorita- Chikorita is Jamie’s starter Pokemon, he had picked Chikorita when he was given the choice of three Johto starter Pokemon. Chikorita looks out for Jamie and will quickly react when he’s about to hit the ground should he trip. Chikorita also is protective over Jamie so he takes time to train himself to protect Jamie should he be in danger from any other Shadow Pokemon, he trains under Storm’s Grovyle for fighting other Pokemon, he also trains under Athena's Vileplume to learn how to heal and support his teammates. Chikorita is still a docile Pokemon but he will jump into action should someone need him or if Jamie is about to trip. Aside from protecting Jamie and keeping him from falling to the ground, Chikorita also calms down Shadow Pokemon by using Sweet Scent on them and it’s thanks to his training with Vileplume that he knows how to use healing moves. Chikorita stays out of his Pokeball.

Moves are Vine Whip, Reflect, Light Screen, Safeguard, Sweet Scent, Aromatherapy, Heal Pulse, Grass Whistle, Ancient Power, and Grass Pledge.

Shuppet- Jamie had caught Shuppet after Nick had agreed to make him his apprentice. Shuppet was a lonely Pokemon due to no one wanting him because he was a Ghost-type, he was really excited when Jamie had caught him and was ecstatic when Jamie asked Shuppet for help with calming down Shadow Pokemon by taking their malicious emotions from them. Shuppet is a Pokemon who’s eager to please, he’ll do anything for Jamie so long as he asks and he’s affectionate to Jamie for giving him a chance, unlike others who didn’t want to catch him. Shuppet also uses Psychic to prevent Jamie from falling when he trips. Shuppet trains under Nick’s Banette to help him get stronger, something that Shuppet is happy about due to how he’s able to bond with his evolution and how he never met with another Shuppet or Banette before.

Mudkip- Jamie was given Mudkip when he was a Shadow Pokemon as a test to see if Jamie could purify a Shadow Pokemon on his own and he would pass if he managed to get Mudkip purified. After Mudkip was purified he was reported to be broken and he wasn’t improving no matter what and everyone in the Pokemon G-men thought he’d have to be put down but after a lot of persuading from Nick, they let Jamie keep Mudkip to see if he could get Mudkip to open up. When Mudkip saw Jamie again he perked up and clung to Jamie, much to everyone’s relief that he wasn’t completely broken. Due to the amount of stress and trauma that Mudkip went through before he became a Shadow Pokemon, he ended up becoming broken but he always seems to be at ease when he’s with Jamie instead of someone else. Mudkip is pretty quiet and doesn’t say much to anyone, he still is willing to help Jamie by using his fin to see where someone is. Mudkip is also strong for his size, being able to crush rocks easily by himself.

Pokemon Next Gen (Models): Tucker Toshiki

Tucker is the son of Joshua and Erica. Tucker had competed in a few contests before he was scouted to be a model by a company in the Kalos region, thinking it would be interesting he accepts their offer and doesn’t regret his choice, he also still does participate in contests when he isn’t modeling. Tucker is calm and approachable, he’s also very nice and is willing to help anyone if they ask for help or if he sees they need help. Tucker can be rather charming to girls as well, which make a lot of girls at his modeling agency to have a crush on him, Tucker being the only boy doesn’t help that a lot of girls have a crush on him, he’s easily embarrassed by the attention he gets which add to his charm and make girls want him more. While he isn’t looking for a relationship right at this moment, he would like to be in a relationship with someone one day. Tucker is extremely down to earth and he goes along with almost anything but if he feels something isn’t right he will stand up for what he thinks. Because of how down to earth he is, he can fit any role with whatever clothes he’s wearing, making him more flexible than most other models. He models in vintage clothes, casual clothes, and Hip Hop clothes.

His Pokemon:

Flaaffy- Flaaffy was Tucker’s starter when he was younger. As a Mareep, Flaaffy was amazed by contests and really wanted to join them as they seemed like fun, Tucker was okay with the idea since he wanted to be a coordinator anyway. It wasn’t until she was battling against Tucker’s, at the time, wild Buizel that she had evolved into Flaaffy. Flaaffy is a gentle and modest Pokemon, she may mostly be doing the appeal round of contests but she does still battle if Tucker needs her to. Flaaffy is very helpful and is quick to help Tucker with what he may need, be it helping him calm down or just giving him company, Flaaffy will always be there for Tucker in his time of need. Flaaffy is also in love with her teammate Buizel, who feels the same way and the two are always a good combination for double contests or just in general for modeling. She wears a blue sweater that Tucker had given her after she evolved.

Buizel- Buizel was caught by Tucker not long after he was in Sinnoh for a while. Buizel would pick fights with anyone who happened to pass by and was interested when he saw Tucker and his Mareep come by where he lived. He battled with them and almost won had Mareep not evolve into Flaaffy and when he saw her in her new form he started gaining a crush on Flaaffy, which distracted him long enough for him to be beaten and caught by Tucker. While at first, he was upset that he got caught by Tucker he was happy that he could be with Flaaffy and would try his best to impress her however he could. He was able to do so by participating in contests and he greatly impressed Flaaffy, especially when they were doing a double performance together and showed everyone how well they could work together using their Water and Electric moves together. Buizel sees himself as a tough Pokemon who isn’t afraid of anything, he’s also a Pokemon who enjoys battling and he enjoys showing off, especially to his girlfriend Flaaffy which she finds adorable. He wears a pair of black sunglasses that were given to him by Tucker.

Pancham- Pancham was caught by Tucker after he arrived in the Kalos region. Tucker’s Pancham is strangely shy, she tries to make herself look intimidating but she gets cold feet and runs away should anyone look at her for so long. When she was caught by Tucker she got more comfortable around him and his teammates, she would also enjoy being held by him when she’s scared or upset. Pancham didn’t understand much about modeling but she joins as an attempt to try and make herself look cool alongside her trainer. She always blushes when she gets patted on her head or praised by her trainer or anyone who takes her picture, she still tries not to smile when praised but she can’t help it and will break out in a large smile every time. She wears a straw hat with a white sash that was given to her by Tucker.

Pokemon Next Gen (Models): Hunter Masaru

Hunter is the son of Victor and Marnie. As his father is the new undefeated champion and his mother is the gym leader of his hometown of Spikemund, Hunter often had people assume he’d take over his mothers position or try to challenge his father to be the new champion, but Hunter wasn’t interested in becoming a Dark-type gym leader nor did he want to be the new champion. After pondering for a while, he was approached by someone to become a model, seeing as he had nothing else to do nor did he have any plans he agreed to it and started taking up modeling. After a bit of modeling, he had noticed how in a lot of pictures he looked like a girl, as an experiment he asked if he could dress in girl clothes to see if anyone noticed a difference, no one had a problem with it and followed his request and had him dressed in girl clothes. With time, Hunter didn’t mind being put in girl clothing or clothes made for girls and would model in them for the fun of it and because he enjoyed the feeling of wearing both clothes for boys and clothes for girls. However, he would then start being confused about his gender due to not many other guys not enjoying wearing girly clothing, it was until he met Alessa that he finally understood that he was nonbinary, he’s okay with being called “he/him”, “they/them” and “she/her” pronouns. Hunter is laid back and easy-going, he’s also pretty stoic and he rarely smiles but even then he’s a nice guy who doesn’t take his anger out on anyone should they mistake him for a girl. Hunter loves his girlfriend Alessa and he doesn’t mind how excited and hyper she is, he finds her cute and enjoys modeling alongside her despite how different their tastes are. Hunter often models in rocker style clothes, punk style clothes, and gothic style clothes.

His Pokemon:

Dedenne- Dedenne was given to Hunter by his mother when he was a little boy. Hunter loved Dedenne and the two of them have been close ever since they first met. Dedenne is energetic and a very happy Pokemon, he loves to run around and have fun with Hunter and he enjoys Hunter’s company. Dedenne often gets really tired and will take a nap when he’s tired. Dedenne is a glutton who will often munch on whatever kind of food he can get his paws on. Dedenne is also affectionate, he enjoys nuzzling against his trainer he doesn’t mean to shock him when he does and he always apologizes when he shocks him. Dedenne can also have a temper when someone wakes him up from his nap, if someone he doesn’t know touches him or tries to touch him or if he doesn’t get enough food. He’ll shock anyone who he happens to see if any of those things happen. He’s often out of his Pokeball and is either riding on Hunter’s head or walking next to Hunter.

Granbull- Hunter caught Granbull after befriending him. Unlike most Granbull, Hunter’s Granbull is very friendly and he tries to make friends with other Pokemon and humans but because of his looks, he often gets met with people and Pokemon running away from him much to his sadness. Granbull had met Hunter and wanted to be his friend, he was very happy when he saw that Hunter wasn’t afraid of him and proceeded to get caught by Hunter. Granbull is very kind and gentle, he also tries to make himself look as friendly as possible so he can make friends with others but he never is able to which makes him feel sad. Granbull is very thankful that Hunter wasn’t afraid of him and that Hunter had caught him, for that, Granbull is very loyal to Hunter and will fiercely protect Hunter as well as his girlfriend Alessa since she also isn’t afraid of Granbull.

Igglybuff- Igglybuff was given to Hunter by his cousin Arielle. Hunter didn’t know why his cousin gave him an Igglybuff but he didn’t mind as he likes his cousins and was happy to get a gift from them, even if it was a baby Pokemon like Igglybuff. Igglybuff is a carefree and laid back Pokemon, but she’s still determined and wants to be a great singer like Arielle’s Jigglypuff so she always practices her singing skills, Hunter takes care of her to help her reach her dream by making sure she takes breaks and encouraging her to keep trying her best. Hunter even sings with her as a way to help her learn how to sing a certain way and practice breathing exercises. Igglybuff is very playful and she loves to bounce around instead of walk or she’ll roll around at times, either way, she’ll find an alternative to walking. Igglybuff enjoys having her picture taken with her trainer, at first it was thought that she would ruin Hunter’s bad boy model but it’s because of Igglybuff and Pookie that everyone sees him as a bad boy with a soft side, which everyone finds appealing so they let Igglybuff take pictures with Hunter and Alessa.

Pookie the shiny Cutiefly- Hunter got his shiny Cutiefly as a gift from Alessa for their three month anniversary since they started dating each other. Hunter was actually happy that Alessa got him a Cutiefly as he thought they were cute but he could never find one himself and he was even happier to see that the Cutiefly his girlfriend caught as a shiny, as for the nickname, Alessa nicknamed Cutiefly and Hunter doesn’t have the heart to change the nickname to something else. Cutiefly is a very easy going Pokemon, often going where ever she wants to gather some flower nectar or pollen to eat or to share with her teammates and trainer. Pookie also likes to battle but she isn’t the best at it, so Hunter takes time to train her and help her improve while also encouraging her that she’ll be okay and if she does lose he’ll comfort her by saying it was okay and that she was just going easy on her opponent, she knows that wasn’t the case but she was happy for the compliment nonetheless.

Pokemon Next Gen (Models): Alessa Dande

Alessa is the daughter of Hop and Gloria. Due to how her parents are known to be assistants for Professor Sonia, people thought that Alessa would be an assistant as well but she was talking to her friend Rain and she told Alessa that she could be a good model. Figuring that it would be worth a try, she joined Rain at the modeling agency and she had picked some bright and colorful clothes and got her picture taken by a photographer. Alessa had enjoyed the feeling of having her picture taken and wearing stylish clothes so she was happy to become a model full time like her friend Rain. Alessa is very hyperactive and is always happy to be with her friends and her Pokemon, she’s sweet, caring, and loves to get other people to smile. Alessa had started dating Hunter after the two of them worked together for a while, Alessa loves her boyfriend and is the affectionate one in their relationship, Hunter doesn’t mind having her cling to him and loves her all the same. She also happens to catch Pokemon that are different in nature than average, she doesn’t mind as she thinks her Pokemon are perfect the way they are and she wouldn’t change anything about them. Alessa often models in vibrant clothes, girly clothes, preppy clothes, and Lolita clothes.

Her Pokemon:

Zangoose- Zangoose is Alessa’s starter Pokemon, he was found lying against a tree and napping when Gloria had found him. Seeing as he was so relaxed, she caught him and gave him to Alessa as a present for her tenth birthday, Zangoose didn’t care and gifted his new trainer with a flower he picked and put it in her hair. Alessa’s Zangoose is the least violent Zangoose anyone has ever seen, according to how he acts he’s somewhat of a flower Pokemon that would spend most of his time relaxing instead of battling. He also doesn’t let his instincts take over when he sees a Seviper, wanting to be friends with one instead of wanting to fight one to the death. When Alessa caught Seviper, he started talking with her and getting to know her, then eventually he got in a relationship with her which almost everyone finds strange due to how Zangoose and Seviper are normally. Zangoose may be less violent than other Zangoose, but he does get protective if another Zangoose tries to attack Alessa’s Seviper and he does defend himself if another Seviper tries to attack him. He always wears a flower necklace around his neck.

Seviper- Alessa caught Seviper when she was on a walk with Zangoose. One thing she noticed about Seviper is that she was a lot shyer than a normal Seviper when they see their arch-rival, she recoiled away from the two of them as if to make herself smaller. Once Zangoose had reassured her that he wasn’t going to hurt her, she calmed down and started to get to know Alessa and Zangoose, then she expressed a feeling of wanting to stay with the two of them for safety. Seviper is very shy and timid, she’s also afraid of Zangoose and would often run away from them instead of trying to fight them. Seviper used to be nervous around Alessa’s Zangoose but once she learned that he meant no harm and doesn’t want to hurt her, she warmed up to him, and eventually, the two became mates. Seviper still has a fear of Zangoose and will often hide behind Alessa’s Zangoose should a different one tries to attack her but she will fight against another Seviper trying to attack her mate. She’ll also purposely affect him with the poisoned status to activate his ability Toxic Boost.

Lopunny- Alessa got Lopunny as a gift from another model for doing a good job on her first few jobs as a model. Lopunny was happy to be given to someone like Alessa and was quick to warm up to her new trainer. Lopunny isn’t as timid or overly cautious as a normal Lopunny, on the contrary, she’s brave and always ready to protect herself should danger come her way. She has quick reflexes and is able to quickly figure out where something dangerous is coming from and will defend herself with no problems. Lopunny is also sweet and protective over Alessa, she’ll always protect Alessa from anything that could happen while they’re on set or if they’re at home. She’s also a bit of a mother figure to Alessa’s Zorua.

Shiny Zorua- Alessa got her shiny Zorua as a gift from Hunter for their three month anniversary since they started dating each other. As Zorua was born as a shiny, he often got hunted more than another Zorua and had to try and stay hidden from bigger Pokemon or from trainers. When he got caught by Hunter he was afraid of what he would do, he didn’t expect Hunter to give him to Alessa as a gift but he calmed down when he was with Alessa because of how friendly she was to him. Zorua is extremely shy and does his best to hide himself using his illusions, however, because he hasn’t had anyone teach him how to use his illusions properly he always messes up something which shows others that he’s a Zorua. For using his illusions to turn himself into a human, his tail will be exposed. For other Pokemon, no matter the species he’ll always have his eyes remain the same and he’ll always turn into the shiny variant of the Pokemon he’s copying, he always gets upset when he gets his illusions wrong but he still tries his best for whatever he might be needed to do.

Pokemon Next Gen (Models): Rain Rurina

Rain is the daughter of Sonia and Nessa. Rain greatly admires her mothers and wanted to be like them, mostly Nessa when it came to her second career as a model so Nessa had brought Rain with her to work and had them take a look at Rain. When everyone gave Rain the okay to start working with them, she was excited and wanted to start right away, so she was given a choice of clothes and started modeling the styles she liked. Like her mother Sonia, Rain is interested in the history of the Pokemon world and looks up what she can about it. Like Nessa, Rain has a love for Water-type Pokemon and similar to Nessa, people think that Rain the model and Rain the average girl are two different people as when Rain is in public she’s calm and collected, nothing seems to bother her at all but when she’s modeling she’s elegant, graceful and a lot more cheerful in general. While she is calm and collected, Rain is very kind to those around her and she will happily greet anyone who happens to know who she is as a model and always gives a perfect smile to her fans. Rain is known to be very excitable when she sees something that interests her, be it about something with Pokemon history, she sees a Water-type Pokemon or she sees some really nice clothes, Rain will lose her calm and collected personality and get very excited about whatever she saw. Rain often models in chic clothes, flirty clothes, and vacation clothes.

Her Pokemon:

Mantine- Rain had received Mantyke as an egg, he hatched from his egg not long after being given to Rain and after swimming with a school of Remoraid, Mantyke had evolved into Mantine. Even after evolving from Mantyke, Mantine is still a very friendly Pokemon he outgrew his habit of hugging and snuggling up against Rain. Due to being in the cold water for so long, Mantine is more used to cold water than other Mantykes and Mantines and he has no issues swimming in the Galarian ocean. Mantine is a good battler and he will always fight to protect Rain from anyone with harmful intentions. He loves to help Rain with whatever kind of photo shoot she’s doing for her modeling job, whether he has to let her ride on him or if he has to prepare some kind of background effect, he’ll do it with a smile and with no problem. He enjoys letting Rain ride on his back, whether it’s for her job or for fun, he’ll let Rain on his back and will happily give her a lift.

Shiny Milotic- Rain had befriended her Milotic when she was a Feebas and when she was younger, they had promised to see each other again when she was older and to seal the deal Rain had given the Feebas a small necklace with a jewel in the shape of a water droplet so that they can remember each other. Rain had met Feebas again but she had evolved into a shiny Milotic, she still had the necklace with the jewel in the shape of a water droplet around her neck. When she got that confirmation Rain had caught her old friend. Milotic is a very gentle but very graceful Pokemon, she’s calm and collected much like her trainer. Despite that, she’s still affectionate to Rain and often wraps herself around Rain and will nuzzle her cheek gently. Milotic isn’t a battler, she prefers to stay out of fights but if someone tries to harm Rain, she will lose her pacifism and will attack without mercy or holding back which is something everyone compares to Rain as she is known to be calm and collected but will lose her composure when she sees something she really likes. She’s still a valued member of Rain’s team.

Corsola- Rain had caught her Corsola at the same time as catching her Mareanie, it surprised Rain to see a Corsola and a Mareanie at the same place and was even more surprised to see them snuggling each other instead of Mareanie trying to attack Corsola. Seeing this, she caught the two of them so they could always be together and not be judged by other Corsola or other Mareanie for their relationship. Corsola is a jolly and silly Pokemon, she’s also selfless and very considerate, often thinking about others and her mate before herself. She’s very close to Rain’s Mareanie despite the fact they’re natural enemies, claiming to love his smile and his voice, as well as saying how he’s kind to her and other Corsola. Corsola allows people to use her branches to make jewelry and she feels proud when she sees someone wearing anything made from her branches. Corsola has Mareanie’s lost tentacle on her head as a make-shift hat for her to wear so that the two of them have something to remind them of each other.

Mareanie- Rain had caught her Mareanie at the same time as catching her Corsola, it surprised Rain to see a Corsola and a Mareanie at the same place and was even more surprised to see them snuggling each other instead of Mareanie trying to attack Corsola. Seeing this, she caught the two of them so they could always be together and not be judged by other Corsola or other Mareanie for their relationship. Mareanie is a gentle Pokemon that doesn’t like attacking anyone unless he feels like he has to. Before meeting Rain and being part of her team, Mareanie had lost one of his tentacles from a battle with a Pokemon that was attacking them so he’s short one tentacle but he doesn’t let that stop him or discourage him. Mareanie loves Corsola dearly and is always happy to cuddle against her, he’s always careful not to accidentally poison her. Like how Corsola wears Mareanie’s lost tentacle as a makeshift hat, Mareanie wears a small piece of one of Corsola’s branches as a necklace so that the two of them have something to remind them of each other.

Pokemon Next Gen (Models): Sunshine Denzi

Sunshine is the older twin daughter of Volkner and Flint, she and her sister Tempest were conceived by a surrogate mother though Sunshine took more after Flint. Like her father, she’s passionate about battling and is very confident in herself and her Pokemon as Flint had told her that having confidence is just as critical to being a successful trainer, she often tries to copy her father’s battle style of using defense as an offense. She’s also excitable and energetic, as well as hyper and very friendly. People thought she would follow her father’s footsteps and become the next Sinnoh Elite Four member, but she and her twin sister got scouted to be models and the two of them enjoy being models together, she does still think that she would be the member of the Elite Four but she wants to focus on modeling for now. She loves Fire-type Pokemon and battles them alongside her father. Sunshine also enjoys spending time with her sister Tempest, despite how different their personalities are they love and care for one another. People often compare the two to their fathers with how similar they are to each other. Sunshine is a supportive person, especially to her sister or anyone else she’s close to, she’s also the only one who can snap Tempest out of her funks whenever she gets bored either by giving her comfort or by battling her and a lot of the time it works out. Sunshine is often known as the “Shining Sun of SunyShore”, she finds the nickname to be embarrassing but she doesn’t say anything about it. Sunshine often models in Hip Hop fashion, sporty fashion, and tomboy fashion.

Her Pokemon:

Chimchar- Sunshine had received her Chimchar from her father’s Infernape on her tenth birthday. Chimchar is a happy Pokemon, she’s just as supportive as her trainer and is happy to give anyone she sees a hand or she’ll cheer them up when they’re feeling down. Chimchar is outgoing and will happily greet someone with a wave of her hand. She’s also close to her pseudo sister Pikachu and they often train together and battle alongside each other, always enjoying their company and just being near each other. Chimchar also gets along with Ponyta, acting like an older sister to her with how young she is compared to other Pokemon on Sunshine’s team. She loves to battle and will gladly train with her teammates and Tempest’s team with anything they may need help with. She’s often seen out of her Pokeball and is always riding on Sunshine’s shoulder.

Moves are Flamethrower, Flame Wheel, Bulk Up, Flame Charge, Low Sweep, Blaze Kick, Thunder Punch, Sunny Day, Helping Hand, and Vacuum Wave.

Torracat- Sunshine had caught Torracat after battling with him when he was a Litten, during the battle he had evolved and when he realized that Sunshine was the perfect trainer for him, he asked to join her team and Sunshine was happy to agree. When he was a Litten, he would mostly wander the streets and would look for food, he didn’t get close to anyone but someone about Sunshine attracted him to her and when he had evolved due to her training he decided to stay with her. Torracat loves a good battle more than anything and he gets more and more excited the more he battles or if he’s battling against someone stronger than him. Torracat still prefers to be on his own rather than interact with anyone else, he gets along fine with Tempest’s Luxio as both of them are lone wolves, they spend their time lazing around together. Torracat looks up to Flint’s Infernape and always battles against him when he can, he wants to beat him one day.

Arcanine- Sunshine had gotten Arcanine when he was a Growlithe as a gift from Flint when he was on a trip to Kanto, Sunshine loved Growlithe and had fun playing with him and training him. Growlithe had evolved when Sunshine gave him a Fire Stone after she had saved up on money to buy one. As a Growlithe, Arcanine was extremely playful and energetic, he would still growl or bark at anyone who came close to Sunshine or Tempest to protect them. When he evolved he became mature and he acts as a guard dog for Sunshine, he enjoys playing with her and Tempest despite the fact he evolved and he gained an affectionate side, enjoying cuddling up to Sunshine and Tempest when they’re on their downtime. Arcanine is close friends with Tempest’s Boltund and the two of them spend their time together and training together.

Shiny Ponyta- Tempest and Sunshine had found a shiny Blitzle and a shiny Ponyta caring for each other one day, seeing how both of them needed help they each caught one of the Pokemon and kept them in their care. Ponyta is a lot shyer than Blitzle and she worries about Blitzle’s safety and fears that he could get hurt even if he’s protecting her, she still worries about him. She’ll often burn someone if she isn’t used to them, so far she allows Tempest, Sunshine, Flint, and Volkner to touch her, anyone else will be burned by her fire mane and tail. She does train so she could protect Blitzle like how he protects her and she enjoys the company of Sunshine’s Chimchar, she sees Chimchar as an older sister figure.
