As a member of the school shooting generation, there is something horrifying to me about the AMOUNT of police officers that are totally willing to rush into a building to attack, arrest, and drag out students from their school buildings for protesting a genocide, but shockingly few who are willing to do anything at all to protect them from getting shot in those same school buildings.

Hannah Montana is fucked up because its entire POINT as a show is that children should be protected from fame and exploitation, but it stars a REAL little girl that's being exploited. Nearly every episode carries the looming threat of Miley being outed as Hannah and losing her peaceful teenage life to the ravages of fame. Her father in the show (played by her own father in real life) wisely protected her from the trauma of fame by making her wear a disguise and live a rather quiet, interview-free life. Meanwhile the REAL Billy Ray Cyrus sold his daughter to Disney Channel when she was 11 and forced her to read dialogue about how terrible it would be to face the public eye. Like... Jesus, dude. The fictional Robby Ray is 10x the father, and it's not even close. (It's also IMMENSELY funny that her dad doesn't use his real name in the show, while she does. Almost like he wanted a bit of a disconnect between his identity and his character. Something Miley didn't get.)

Every companion ship has potential, but most of them only fit in one way or another ending wise- like for example, your ship with Karlach is only not tragic if someone goes to hell with her, then there's Shadowhearts Shar Justiciar ending which complicates any relationship she's in, and ascended Astarion puts a certain spin on things, God Gale, etc etc

I love though, how many possibilities Wyll has with Astarion. Monster hunter Wyll with Spawn Astarion = A+

I know I'm a Wyllstarion Nation-er so I'm biased but I am just DEEPLY into every damn version of those two there's so much story potential ahhhh

this is the most annoying phenomenon in the world bar none

do you ever sit and think about how excellent wicked is as a tragedy. like both elphaba and glinda spend all of act 2 until for good doubling down on the choices/mindsets that put them in their situations in the first place -- elphaba continues making impulsive, bold decisions that just turn the ozians against her; glinda continues staying within the corrupt system despite realizing she has no real agency to change it -- and when they finally see eye to eye and each try to implement the other's perspective, it's too late for them to work as a team for more than just a moment. and it just baffles me that like 95% of the general public just sees this show as a fun wizard of oz prequel

when i was post op after top surgery i had a good friend there with me to help recover. but the nurse didnt get the memo and when i woke up she was like “ok i’m gonna go get your girlfriend and bring her in to see you!” and i remember being so zonked on anesthesia and so disoriented i just laid there thinking wow…… all that an they’re bringing me a girlfriend too this place is amazing
