And to be so dismissive of such a big thing, is kinda disappointing, because it plays so much into Eddie's character development. I mean in the end, they didn't move in together, but everything leading up to the decision in the first place was just ignored which makes me feral

buck is so jealous of tommy, because somehow he thinks that his place in the diaz family is threatened. that the buck shape can be so easily filled by tommy. and maybe, somewhere in there, lays the realization that him and eddie go beyond friendship. that this thing they have, the family they have, the life they built, is so much more. it's so much more romantic than platonic. but in the end, buck thinks he is jealous because he is crushing on tommy. and yes, he absolutely is. in a way. but i think he is projecting part of the jealousy over eddie (!!) spending time with tommy and not him onto his feelings for tommy. because realizing you like guys in a non platonic way is already scary enough as it is. realizing you might have feelings for your best friend who has exclusively dated women in the time you have known him is a whole other level. buck is so afraid of losing eddie and their family that at this point he would rather die than admit he has feelings for eddie. and i think it is so important to have buck realize he is bisexual apart from eddie. because this way he can embrace this important part of himself first, before having the hard realization that he loves eddie in a very much romantic way.
