Decided to share some commissions that I got for my arden siblings (that make me lose it bc aaaa they look so good!!)

A lot of my lore and design for the ardens is something I thought of myself without basing it off something else. However there will still be some things that I overlook and later think a lot about.

One of these things is the last name arden because when I decided on that last name for my three siblings, I didn't notice that there was already a canon character with that same last name. It took me around a year to notice this and when I did, I was like: "shit now I have to make him part of the lore". And fortunately it fits in quite well.

The second thing that continues to bother me to this day is alois because he and percy have a striking resemblance design wise. Percys design was based off characters like killua from hunter x hunter or mikhail from vanitas no carte because I always liked the fluffy, white hair with a lot of his colors being green because that's his favorite color. But now anytime I see fanart of alois (or worse, cosplays) i just immediately think about percy because they're both different shades of blond, around the same age (alois is probably a bit older though) and have a somewhat similar hairstyle. And it was all completely unintentional.

I've been thinking about drawing them together for shits and giggles because of that little joke now. Though alois and percy are so different personality wise, percy would be quite intimidated and shocked by alois bold and often times rude honesty. And especially by how easy it is for alois to just flirt with someone (I think he did act quite flirty and cheeky with lizzy to piss of ciel), percy would be like :0 since that's what he struggles the most with

For percy the issue isn't the suit but rather the color since he prefers wearing muted colors (and green)

The boss of the house and caring older brother. Despite his insured obedience from everyone else in the house, he places enough importance on giving his siblings enough freedom to do what they want. That is unless it's becoming dangerous

The more I look at this drawing, the more I'm starting to think that I made o!ciel look bigger than he actually is. Percy is actually taller than o!ciel (by 8cm to be more precise)

Emily is the personal maid and best friend of julia.

She is mute most of the time and can easily put up with other people no matter how loud they are. Although Julia can sometimes be a lot to deal with she still takes good care of her.

Her past is a sensitive topic for her, especially her family. Though she appreciates the new life julia gave her when she insited on hiring her after helping her when she got lost in the outer skirts of london

Julia is the youngest out of the arden siblings and the most troublesome one even if she doesn't want to admit it.

She's a rather headstrong young girl that is obsessed with the idea of "keeping her brothers safe from suspicious people". It often results in her mingling into her brothers business and relationships, causing quite the trouble even with her good intentions.

Despite that she is not a bad girl and makes sure that her brothers are of good health, especially elliot

Elliot is the eldest of the arden siblings who is in charge of managing the house as well as the work his title gave him.

He's a workaholic that most often busy in his office and quite exhausted anytime he steps out of it. Despite that he greatly cares about his siblings though and makes sure that they stay out of trouble (especially julia).

He inherited his title quite early when their parents passed away in a flooding accident that "almost" took percy.

Percy is the middle child of the arden siblings and inheritor of a newspaper company formerly owned by his mothers side of the family.

He is a gentle and shy boy by nature who spends a lot of time reading books, most notably romance novels.

What his siblings aren't aware of though is that he isn't actually the real percy but instead a fox spirit impersonating him to learn more about humans and overcome his own trouble.

While attending a party with his brother elliot and sneaking off to continue reading his newest find, he came across o!ciel who recognised and commented on the book he was reading. Since then they have formed a little friendship with the two often meeting to discuss what books they found. Over time percy formed a bit of a crush on him.
