Deathwatch (1966)
In 1965, Vic Morrow and Leonard Nimoy produced the film Deathwatch, which was one of the first films specifically marketed to a gay audience. As a result, the film received a very short release in the US and no release in the UK.
According to bluray.com Deathwatch has also received no physical media releases. Additionally, it is not available to stream anywhere except YouTube.
My concern is that Deathwatch could very easily fade into total obscurity, but I also want to see the film remastered and provided a showcase via a physical media release, as well as historical context and supplementary materials such as essays, commentaries, and interviews if at all possible.
In the past month, I have made a couple of posts about suggesting Deathwatch to the Criterion Collection, but thanks to discussions with others, I have decided to broaden my scope. Below is a list of bluray companies and their contact information for suggesting titles.
