I hope we get to see more of Colin singing this season bc he has a beautiful voice. Maybe he can serenade Penelope or they’re alone and he sings praises of her beauty to her quietly and it makes her giggle 🥹 give me something at least

It's the middle of the night and I am once again thinking about Luke's harmony in Finally Free.

JATP cast trying to beat the season 2 allegations but the fantom is too delulu to not take everything they say 100% seriously

Either she's blind or petty.

Eloise asking “Since when are you worried about Penelope?” as if Colin doesn’t actively seek her out anytime he’s back from his travels or they’re at a ball together they’re like moths to a flame with each other

I'm not upset that Colin was not always in love with Penelope. I'm upset at him for his words, he said despite being friends, with her for years . So I think it is warranted that he should pine for her and grovel a bit. He needs to realize a lot of things pertaining to Penelope. Not just that, he's in love, but that words hurt. And sometimes ignoring the ones you care about is a good way to get them to see life without you. Let him search out Pen's attention. That way, he may actually hear her and why she's upset. He'll look at his words differently now that he realizes he loves her.

Edge of great <3

if you re watch or watch the edge of great scene in Julie and the phantoms, you will notice that Julie DOES try to take Flynn's advice and tries to avoid staring at Luke. You can see in the first verse that she turns to Reggie, then to Alex, but not Luke. Luke notices this and kind of turns to Alex , almost questioning why she didn't look at him. then straight after, he turns right back to Julie.

Then in the second verse, Julie and Luke make eye contact, then after Luke sings the line, "It's never straight, no", he tilts his head to Julie, trying to get her to come over. Then Julie ignores it, and carries on singing to the audience. It's so clear on Luke's face that he's confused. Then for the whole second verse he carries on staring at her. Also when Reggie came over to the same mic as Luke, he gave a confused expression to Reggie.

Then, at the bridge of the song, Luke is STILL staring at Julie. And, as we ALL know, he plays that guitar solo, which is pretty clearly to get Julie's attention.

AND FINALLY AS WE ALL KNOW, the iconic scene when they both stare into each others eyes and sing the last part of the song together. THAT BIT LITERALLY MELTS MY HEART EVERY TIME I WATCH IT!!!!

Everyone is saying that the JATP fandom is back to life & I love it. But I've been participating in the fandom since 2021 & seeing it slow down made me so sad.
