I've been having a really hard time finding mutuals in the fandom and feeling a little shunned on tumblr tbh. That could just be my social anxiety talking or maybe it's because I'm fairly new to tumblr and everyone else has known each other longer? My Thoughts on The Crow 2024

I love the OG movie, I'd heard about the comics it was based on but never read them. Thought the sequel was okay, disliked the third one and have never even watched the forth. Also, I really liked the T.V series.

I have read about the attempted remakes with different leads over the years but nothing ever materialized. When I heard Bill had been cast I thought he'd be fucking perfect. I took a pause at finding out they would be using the characters of Eric and Shelly knowing there was going to be controversy.

There was a review of an early screening which stated that the person thought the movie was pretty good actually, There were some things they really liked and some they didn't. This made me hopeful. Then the first pictures came out and I have to admit I'm not a fan of that particular haircut or the bad tattoos, But these photos are clearly from near the beginning and his look may alter by the final act. I feel bad for Bill with everyone ripping the look apart without any context or even seeing the trailer yet. At least most of the comments have praised his acting talent and are, logically, not blaming him directly for the (Leto's Joker) look of the character. The same thing happened with Pennywise so hopefully he knows not to take it personally by now.

I just got off work, I'm tired AF and I saw an article posted by colorful-white-ideas regarding the filming of a giant prison orgy scene for this movie, I may have reacted badly as I cannot wrap my brain around where, how, why that would fit into this story logically, but hey, maybe it's a dream sequence, maybe the scene's been cut idk. Regardless, I am still going to see this movie in theaters because I know Bill will give his all.

The Pink Hoodie is a nice nod to the original film "Locked" is based on.

Okay so.. Since my username/account has been dragged into this petty fight for the second time now I just had to say something. When I joined several months ago I was immediately blocked by Full of tricks. I found out this was because she thought I was Mortox, now Mortox is claiming I am Simplest Simon. This. has. nothing. to. do. with. me.

I am here as a fan of Bill's to see content about Bill. I also respect other's opinions when it's related to Bill by not arguing with them about their personal opinion when I disagree. What is going on with all this sniping at each other because of some personal beef? and posting of asks that are clearly meant to bait each other? All this paranoia and negativity is going to implode this fandom.

Remember when they were filming this scene and started practicing stage fighting everywhere? Throwing each other onto car hoods in driveways and causing scenes in bars? fun times

Unfortunately I lost a year’s worth of files when my ancient desktop died last year so I no longer have the hood pic or the actual bar clip but I’ve been wanting to start a thread on the subject if anyone cares to share -maybe I have a pic or clip you were looking for? (was the one where Landon threw himself out of his chair in the same time period?)
