So basically I think it would be more a musical high school AU about a society in which ghouls and humans attend school together. And then Kaneki would OBVIOUSLY be Troy because he's stuck trying to choose between the human/CCG world (theatre) and the ghoul world (basketball). I still think those parts would be included but I think the main focus would still be about choosing between the two worlds. ANYWAYS here's my casting list (it makes sense...to Me). The whole sideplot of Sharpay and Ryan trying to keep the two worlds separate is the CCG so erm 🤓 Only romance that still exists is between Kaneki and Hide, everything is WIPED because the dynamics would be OFF

Troy Bolton - Ken Kaneki

Gabriela Montez - Hide Nagachika

Chad Danforth - Touka Kirishima

Taylor McKessie - Kuki Urie (I know this makes ZERO sense at first but trust that it does to ME)

Sharpay Evans - Akira Mado

Ryan Evans - Amon Koutarou

Kelsi Nielsen - Juuzou Suzuya (except he's less awkward than her)

Zeke Baylor - Tooru Mutsuki and I think he's with the ghouls because he's not trying to hide his 'monstrous' side in this AU

I Have Found A Solution!

So, obviously classic wizard robes aren’t wheelchair friendly. (Alright, admittedly this isn’t common knowledge and also this definitely isn’t a problem for most but listen, this is a problem for me and I’m pleased to present a solution for it nonetheless.)

The issue is in the sleeves and the length of the robes. The traditional trumpet style allows them to get snagged, dirty, and caught in the wheels.

This is distinctly not an issue with other mobility aids such as canes and crutches, these wizards are fine to carry on with their trumpet sleeves simply rolled up if needed.

Now, one solution might simply to shorten the sleeves and hem to be out of the way, but that looks rather silly so I won’t do that. Instead I propose the more elegant design of a hanging sleeve to maintain that flowy magical feel while allowing for better range of motion.

Honestly I just love the look of hanging sleeves in general and think more people should appreciate them, wheelchair user or not.

we've all talked about the iconic neil cameo (i will never tire of talking about the iconic neil cameo) but the scraps jean hands us about andrew? warms my heart. the fact that people in the exy world have picked up on how he's actually putting an effort into games this year. the way he heaves himself out of goal so fast to defend neil from riko. that wymack told the press it was andrew's idea to put neil in defense and it was hailed as genius. andrew getting the recognition he deserves, even if he doesn't care for it. jean speaking to an empty room, "he will be court", as confidently as kevin speaks about neil. andrew having a dedicated candy drawer. andrew always looking at wymack when kevin and neil are being pedantic. andrew and neil and the quiet way they are wrapped around each other's existence. andrew minyard.

Years later still wondering, if ghoul skin is near impenetrable how the hell did Uta get his tattoos??

Im not going to say nothing about the Tokyo Ghoul anime is worth it but I will say just about nothing is BETTER than the manga. Like the Ayato fight. Not only did they leave out Kaneki "beating him half to death". Which he comes to the conclusion means breaking exactly half his bones. It also leaves out the line "psychological damage would be more effective". Which might be the best moment in the whole fight.

Ill also say the anime tends to characterize Kaneki as more sporadic. Just the whole way through. Which is actually opposed to the manga which often times shows him more deliberate. Very early on in both he takes a knife to his stomach. The anime portrays it as some kind a breakdown. A spur of the moment lapse in sanity. But the manga walks us through his very thought out plans to gouge out his own organs. Going as far as to call his friend over so he'll arrive after its happened and be able to call an ambulance.

Its a small detail. But stuff like this builds up and fundamentally changes his character.
