In ancient times we hunted animals 20 times our size and won. Made friends with a dangerous predator. Created complicated recipes from shit that would kill us instantly if we fucked up even one step!

TFE Headcanon (where they don’t make Soundwave’s kids scared of him)

Soundwave didn’t kill Rumble from being low on energon but instead Optimus or Bumblebee shot him while he was ejecting. And the Autobots being the ignorant oblivious destroyers they are don’t realize this and rationalize it as Soundwave killing Rumble somehow.

That’s why Soundwave is so full of rage when he fights them. Because they killed his kid and don’t even take responsibility for it, the cowards. And even worse don’t even care or know they killed him and joke about it.

TFE 1 The Nightshade problem

NO THE PROBLEM IS NOT ABOUT THEM BEING NON-BINARY!!

So in TFE we are introduced to Nightshade, the first nb rep in transformers. That's all good, but the way it was written was forced and confusing.

A really good rep was the whole thing with Wheeljack being Twitch's second dad. Even if it wasn't meant to be seen as such rep, its still nicely done, and let the viewer decide the meaning. And still, there can be kids watching it and feeling happy, that Twitch has a second dad, just like them. But Nightshade...

They were just..born, they have barely talked and been alive. We know that in a lot of other shows, it takes the bot a while to learn about themselves (like Anode and Lug), just like us humans. So Nightshade feeling that way instantly seemed unnatural. They could have kept the scene, but replaced it with Nightshade just nodding/agreeing with OP's chosen pronoun, but still showing that they are unsure, and later, in the episode..next season being able to finally understand the concept of ENGLISH pronouns and the way humans express their gender, because the concept of gender and pronouns are what Transformers learnt from other alien (and human) cultures. That concept is learnt and is not part of their CNA. It also would have been interesting to see Nightshade tryout different pronouns and different self-expressions, just like a lot of human teens go through, a thing the viewer can relate to.

BUT HEY, that's just my opinion, and it's still cool that we have a nb rep in a kids show :3

Since im a biology nerd and a transformers nerd, i have created this blog to anylize Transformers Earthspark by their new ...cybertronian/earth biology and also to criticize the show (yes i know its a childrens cartoon but my mtmte brain wants more complecs stuff ig)

so posts with # as header are just updates and such

posts with just TFE will be about the show and just maybe stuff i wish to see more

and TFE TERRANS will be about analyzing their biology and such

hopefullly i will not forget about this blog
