together – a polo-centric(-ish) polo x carla x christian drabble

The three lay together, legs tangled, breathing deep. Polo tracing his fingers across Carla’s hip absentmindedly. They stay, just living in the moment together. Three breathing patterns merging into one. Carla untangles herself gently from her boys giving each a kiss. She floats over to the bathroom, the picture of grace, and disappears. Polo rolls over onto the warmth his girlfriend left and extends his arm onto Christian’s chest resuming his absentminded tracing. Their breathing slows and deepens; the two doze. Carla must return sometime later due to the warm weight now present resting against Polo’s back. They lay together and breathe. Soon enough fingers still and breathing deepens, and they drift off… together.

okay but why is no one talking about how Elite literally ends on Christian getting a text from Carla “we are waiting for you”…. we. WE. Carla and Polo are waiting for him. and Christian goes to them. they were/are lovers and now accomplices.  our chaotic 3 is gonna be in for an absolute ride in season two. will christian reject both of them? will he try to solely pursue carla? what about polo’s lust for christian? carla and polo will always come as a pair - romance or not - will the two break seeing christian’s guilt and sadness? will they try and come up with a way to free his best friend? and bring christian back to them? will polo ever be able to make it up to carla? I love that people are asking me for more Polo x Christian x Carla. we stan one fucked up triad

 I’ve done other posts (here and here and here) about my headcannons and  AAAAAAAAAAAA

I honestly veer between wanting sappy shit or ANGST - especially for s2.

like will we have a time skip? will we start back at school with longing looks and intense stares across the class room? Or will we jump straight after, them in summer break - in a tumultuous spin over what happened– turning on each other. picking sides. 

but I digress. Lets jump into the mess of my thoughts

- them having a weekly dinner dates. just like their first proper time as a 3. sitting on the floor in their barely furnished apartment, take-out spread around… maybe Polo enjoys cooking? Polo feeding his lovers because it’s something his parents didn’t try to get him to make a career out of. Catching up like this in private means Carla starts to drop the defensive wall around her and be more open.

- buying/treating christian to expensive clothes. treating him. spoiling him. not because they are trying to ‘buy’ him - but because they love seeing him spoiled. theyve always grown up with this wealth its not special to them but- they thrive off seeing someone getting so much enjoyment out of it and appreciate it as its all new.

- Christian wearing the watch Carla got him and maybe earrings that Polo gets him. Him loving that he carries those two with him all the time. Cue possessiveness of Polo and Carla marking whats theirs.

- Carla’s possessiveness. she protects what is hers. anyone at school who dares question will face her wrath. maybe a kid from a younger year makes a crass joke at their expense. That kid now makes sure never to be in the school hallway  when they are near. 

- maybe Christian actually does take off a bit as a model after Polo’s help…. nothing crazy. just some basic clothing magazine modelling….but to see his excitement and joy… cue longing looks from polo. maybe he always brings polo to his photoshoots *it becomes their thing* and then polo gets to admire christian’s body as he changes between each look. (and then we get an excited christian bounding over to carla to show her the magazine where he’s on page 32 and polo looking over with a fond look)

- hopefully we finally get an actual shot of them all naked in bed together 😏

- Christian coming to terms with his bisexuality!! he’s obviously not as certain as Polo is, and it’d be great to see support of him coming out. the both of them. Then Guzman realising he’s the only straight onein his group of friends.

- Christian visiting Nano and saying how not only did he successfully steal the girl from her boyfriend… but the boyfriend as well. and Nano silent at first but then bursting into laughter at how Christian doesn’t do things by halves. that greedy fucker.

- christian being the outrageous flirt he is, bragging about how women and men are attracted to him, and starting to flirt with the guys too more openly.

- SLEEPING TOGETHERRRR. who is the big spoon? who sleeps in the middle? is christian in the middle as he is there’s? does carla like being between her two boys. does polo love stroking carla in his arms while feeling Christian pressed up against his bacK?

 I read a fic on ao3 that had this AMAZING idea - that they actually try to frame the murder on someone who deserves it. you know Carla wont let Polo go to jail, but nor can she stand seeing Christian suffer at the loss of his best friend. so that’d honestly make for some good s2 drama. trying to balance so many sides.

ANGST TIME

Christian rejecting Polo - feeling cheated.  in denial over his bisexuality. he’s got the girl now…. but…. he feels like something’s missing he’s just too afraid to admit it. lashing out at polo for what he did. Denying how attracted he is to him.

Carla - controlling, manipulative, show no weakness carla -reaching breaking point trying to keep her world in control - having to protect Polo and the red watch, coping with Samu trying to involve Christian into a plot to free Nano from prison. COz you know Samu would start thinking something’s up if Nano’s best friend doesn’t want to help. Carla will have her hands full trying to stop her worlds from falling apart.

We saw in s1 how much Christian broke down in the interview room with the police. maybe….. he gets held by the police/ and Polo LOSES it. maybe they both do. maybe carla has to scream at polo like she never has before, facade cracking as Polo wants to admit to everything, just to protect christian.

Maybe the reverse. Polo gets arrested after they check the cameras by his house and noting the unaccounted for hours. Christian at first happy he’s gone…. but then he start’s to realise the effect Polo had on his life. and how much he means to carla. Christian and Carla step up. arm in arm. Polo thinking this is it. they are going to confess everything. instead. they say all three were together in the changeroom. having sex. too embarrassed to admit they were all together to the police.

maybe we go somewhere darker.  - like with Guzman. maybe polo’s mental health takes an absolute dive. the guilt he must be dealing with. and being abandoned by the two he cares about most. Polo hasnt been alone since he was young. he’s always had Carla.  now he doesn’t. polo becomes destructive, brash, impulsive and it breaks Carla and Christian’shearts.

I was talking with @capykov - what are all the parents reactions?? We know Christians parents think he’s being bought…. will he continue to try and hide it from them? hide the expensive gifts, the jewellery. Hide his sexuality?

Polo’s mothers’ and carla’s parents saw what happened at the winery. will they try and persuade them from this “distraction” and stay on the path they’ve laid out for their children?

they’re actually a fairly out 3, most people sorta know about them anyway in s1? Idk im hoping for a bit more of an acknowledgement from the rest of the characters.
