I’ve noticed that (biological) women in the TRA movement exhibit a lot of the same behavior towards TIMs as women who’ve been in long-term mentally abusive relationships with male narcissists, i.e., forfeiting their right to their own opinions, walking on eggshells, apologizing profusely over the tiniest missteps, repeatedly vocalizing that the narcissist’s wants and needs are more important than their own, praising and validating the narcissist unconditionally, etc.

The reactions from porn consumers when one criticizes porn is literally such an ultimate sign of how terrible and vile porn as institution and habit is. These people can be given testimonies from porn stars about rape and abuse, studies about how rape desensities the consumer to rape and violence (see the connection there?), and studies about the link between porn and trafficking, and what they restort to is either (most often) mocking, or threats. How can you mock women who tell of how they’ve been exploited and raped within the industry? How can you put your own sexual gratification and wish to jerk off to porn over the lives and safety of women? How can you hate women this much?
