Cloth me Up is a Online Business apparel, owned by my Partner’s Cousin. Mrs. Sheena Marie A. Golosenda
We were Curious about their start of Building a Business, and started interviewing.
“Cloth Me Up is an online shop selling affordable and high quality pre-loved clothes. I myself have always been fascinated with every aspect of fashion, most especially with thrift shopping or “ukay-ukay”. Every time I wear my clothes to work, my friends and colleagues would always ask me where I bought my clothes and how much does it cost. There was also a time where my boss bought the outfit I’m actually wearing on that same day. They always look forward to what I wear each day. Seeing them wear the clothes I sell really makes me smile. Right then and there, I decided to turn my love for fashion into a career. I took that opportunity to start my own business while still working. Unfortunately, I resigned as a Marketing professional last December 2019 and decided to work full-time on my business.”

She also shared her Challenges and Obstacles of opening a Business.
“ In this time of pandemic, the biggest challenge in taking my business online is the fact that when some people started to observe that my business was growing, they copied my ideas to advance their own goals. Competing with numerous online sellers is difficult for me as I still need to come up with a plan to make my brand stand out in the market. With this, I still keep hustling and continue to focus on the needs of my clients and customers. In order to gain and maintain their trust, I make sure to always go the extra mile for them at all times, which encourages them to freely advertise my brand through their word-of-mouth. I also ensure that the clothes I sell are for all types of people for my customers to be confident with their own body.”
Tumblr media
She also suggested tips and information on how to expand your Business--
“Investing back in Social media and in the Internet in General is a Big boost to expand your Business, not only that it is pandemic. But most people shop through Online, so it is the right thing to utilize the Internet/Social Media”

“In opening a business I can't deny that there are lots of challenges. For me the hardest part of building a business is how and where to start. “For us to have a good profit we reinvest in social media to showcase our business since aside from dine in we also have delivery in which this help us to gain more customers and better profit. Time to time we posted in Tea D'Beers page what is available in our menu for today. I suggest not to just stay in that specific area, post your product because people nowadays will definitely try what is trend in social media. I proudly say by doing that things it help to expand our small business.”
