In an alternate timeline, where Camp Wawanakwa wasn’t polluted with radioactive waste in the first place, the three generations of Total Drama contestants are throwing a party on the island, courtesy of everybody’s favourite surfers, Geoff Austin and Bridgette Cooper. Six successful seasons have made these 52 young adults to develop a strong bond and friendship with one another; they have even invited Josh Holbrook and Blaineley Andrews-O’Halloran in good faith, to report on the events of the reunion. But unbeknownst to the ex-campers, their former hosts, Chris McLean and Chef Dwight Hatchet, have angered the ancient deities of nature by mauling a magical tree that was hidden within the caves of the island, which caused a terrible curse to be cast upon the whole land. Suddenly, a big, green, purple cloud began to spread through the air and mutate everything it could reach. The magic forces killed the two hosts immediately and turned them into streams of tar. The party attendees began to retreat in droves; most of them managed to get to the boats and escape… but some of them were not that lucky, and were reached and engulfed by the curse, which mutated them in the most painful and sorrowful way. Damned to live as disfigured shells of their past selves, their minds devolved to a primordial state of survival, but still clinging to small memories and habits of who they once were. Eventually, some of the surviving campers return to survey the land and rescue their friends, but alas, the curse reaches them all the same…
