I'm just gonna make this post and then maybe I can focus on watching Fantasy High lol
I am mostly in camp prank on this whole wedding thing, but if it does turn out that they are actually married I really am happy for them!
My thoughts are below the cut (if you care):
These are comedians who have been shipped together for like a decade, of course they have it in them to plan an April Fool's prank several months, if not possibly even a year, in advanced. Like, I can see them hanging out like last year on April 1st and saying, "oh, we should totally post that we got married or something" and then they decided that was too tame and they had to take it to the extreme.
On the other hand, these are comedians who have been shipped together for like a decade, so of course they have it in them to actually get married but announce it on April 1st for the memes.
Smosh cast and crew's reactions are all over the place. Some of them are acting like its real and they knew all along and some are acting like this is a big surprise or a joke. I feel like if it was real everyone would be reacting the same way, ie congratulating them. But, again, this is a comedic channel so I can kinda see them playing it up, but it feels less likely with how disjointed the reactions are.
Like I said above, if this is real, I am happy for them, because they do seem like two people who really know how to have fun together and make each other laugh.
Just wanna finish off by saying that regardless of the legitimacy of this wedding this is the funniest fucking thing I think Smosh has ever done.

Things that would be really fucking funny in light of the shourtney announcement:
1. They did actually get married but it was just for the bit and they announce their divorce first thing tomorrow
2. Damien also legally married Courtney, but not Shayne, making it a huge win for shourtamien but an even bigger loss for shaymien truthers
3. We don’t hear anything from either of them or the rest of the cast/crew for the entirety of the year until NEXT April fools day where they assure us that they did in fact get married and we STILL won’t know if it’s the truth
4. Pics of the wedding party come out and Shayne’s best man is Arasha dressed as dark Damien
