Your Home at the Jackson County Tax Auction
Every year, Jackson County Missouri auctions several hundred properties to the highest bidder on the the Court House steps. If property owners do not pay their property taxes for 3 consecutive years, their properties are auctioned off by Jackson County.
The sale will begin Monday, August 19, 2019 at the Jackson County Courthouse in Kansas City 415 E 12th St, Kansas City, MO 64106
Preserving Home Ownership
If you or someone you know has not paid their taxes and may have their home auctioned, you can put a stop to this.
The property taxes must be paid before the property is auctioned on Monday August 19. In some cases, you can setup a payment plan.
Pay in person on before the sale occurs on August 19, 2019 at Jackson County Courthouse, 415 E. 12th Street, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64106
Gaining Home Ownership
If you would like to purchase a home at the auction to fix up and live in yourself, review the properties to be auctioned by Jackson County, Missouri.
Starting on Monday, August 19, bring cash or a cashier’s check to the court house steps to bid on the property you would like to own.
